“So much fun.” the man grumbled, shifting a bit to straighten himself up somewhat. Being around so many cheerful people should have had the opposite affect it was having on Joel. He should have been perked up from it all. Instead, he was only sliding deeper into the ever growing depression that he had been trying to fight off since his family had died before him. “Has the snow let up at all?”

"Sorry, didn't mean to disturb you. Just wanted to---" Pausing in her words, she tried to think of her reason. Taylor wasn't sure what she wanted to do or why she found herself going over to him but here she was. Usually you'd find her on her own, well away from everyone else but there was something about him that had drawn her over. Obviously he wasn't a fan of this time of year, something that they apparently had in common but the reasons behind it were unknown. "Nope, 'fraid not. Looks like you're stuck here for the time being."

All this commotion was making the man go insane. He had promised himself that he would be in and then out, but now he was stuck in a small hotel with tons of people that he didn’t know. Finding a small area for himself, he began to get comfortable when someone wandered in. “Guess there really is no privacy huh?”
