Well, she certainly wasnât expecting to run into another survivor in this part of town. Another herd of the undead, sure. A red flag immediately popped up â- anyone still standing nowadays was more of a threat to her than the walkers, especially those hiding out in places like this. Spotting the gun, she knew she wouldnât have enough time to grab the crossbow off of her back to retaliate had he tried anything, though luckily she did have another concealed weapon in case he tried anything. âWeâre not looking for trouble,â she stated, hoping heâd assume she wasnât alone on this run. Putting that idea in his head might just give her a bit of an advantage.
âAnd neither am I,â he responded. The âweâ in that sentence made him a little on edge. Most people just said that to intimidate others and usually it wasnât true, but it wouldnât be a smart idea to automatically assume that she was lying. And even if there were others around, why should that bother him? He had no intentions whatsoever of hurting her.Â
