Potentially controversial topic incoming: …….. i can’t be the only one who doesn’t get the appeal of Halloween, right?  I mean there’s nothing wrong with it, and i’m as big a sucker for all the candy as anyone, but i don’t get why it’s such a big deal. No shade here, just genuinely curious. are you a ‘decorate the house and yard in all the skeletons and cobwebs, spooky season starts the first day of fall’ or a ‘the real holiday is when the candy goes on sale’? I’m definitely the latter.

I mean dressing up once a year is pretty cool, you get to be someone else for a night and enjoy playing a character. Dress up, eat candy and drink, if you’re into that.

Take care of yourself and don’t skip out on therapy! Sometimes I had to force Josh from doing things he shouldn’t. I do recommend Animal Crossing though. Do you like Harry Potter?

This is very difficult to put on paper. I loved every minute I spent in Ohio. Drafted by the Jackets 8 years ago, getting the opportunity to help the team win a Calder Cup in Cleveland, giving me the opportunity to play in the NHL and start my career off in such a great city like Columbus. To the fans in Columbus, Thank you for everything. To the coaching staff, trainers, equipment managers, all those who work tirelessly behind the scene so we can play the game we love, I thank you for everything. To the Columbus Blue jackets organization, thank you for drafting me and thank you for 8 great years. To play in the NHL was my dream and you helped make that dream come true. To my brothers. This is hard. We fought every battle together, as one. Such an amazing group of people and many friendships that will last forever. Columbus will always have a special place in my heart ❤️❤️
