HERE i made little envelopes filled with messages of love, hope and encouragement which were inspired by some of my favourite lyrics from folklore. i picked songs that personally helped me during dark times, decorated them, then i posted them up in public places for people to find and take.

folklore has really seriously helped me this year — i’ve been going through therapy which is VERY tough and folklore came out on the day i started (!!! fate !!!) so it’s been a friend to me through some really dark days. but i’d expect nothing less of taylor. i also lost my job in august and things have been super rocky since then, so i decided to do what i could to pick myself up and step into the daylight. all the envelopes have been taken down now so, i hope whoever took them are feeling a little less alone. (and i really hope they streamed folklore!!! haha!)

then i made (my personal favourite) a “take what you need” poster, featuring a slip for every track on folklore and what i think each track can help someone with, which i put up in my local park. i made this becayse doing the envelopes made me so happy and pulled me out from a dark place, and i wanted to continue on that road, sharing what i love with others who could do with a virtual hug from someone else.

you’ll have to zoom in a little bit to read the full text. i am so happy i made this and feel so happy knowing i could share a little bit of my life and strength and love for taylor swift with some strangers who need it as much as i do. i hope they’re out there somewhere, feeling close to someone else and knowing it’s gonna be alright. i hope they share their favourite music with another stranger too. all we’ve got is each other. 🌹

anyway that’s it for now!! i’ll post some more of my crafts later but i just wanted to share these two with tumblr. i hope you guys love them and that they make you feel strong in some way. my inbox is always open if you need someone — even anonymously — i’m here for you. life is HARRRRRD but if taylor taught me anything it’s that weve got each other. funnily enough i think sometimes taylor swift is the invisible string tying you all to me ❤️ love you swifties!!!!!

HAPPY 8 YEARS OF RED!!! it took me a while to connect with the emotions shared in red and even though i’ve always loved it, it wasn’t one of my favourite albums for a long time, but a few years ago i bonded with it, related to it, understood it. and now i completely appreciate it! and i am so glad i do because this album now means so much to me, and listening to it feels like wearing a warm cosy blanket. it holds so many memories, and i can’t believe it’s 8 years old, gosh!!! happy birthday RED!!! 🍂✨

after over a year of being ibf, a week ago i finally was able to meet my best friend @heidilovestay138 🥰 im so thankful to @taylorswift for bringing heidi into my life!! heidi is such a light to everyone around her, she’s been there for me when i had no one. i have no idea where id be without her. i can’t wait for the day where heidi meets taylor!!! (Also I wanna note that it is still so important to social distance still and wear masks! we wore masks when we weren’t taking photos and social distanced from other groups of people!) i love you heidi and we love you Taylor!!
