"Kansas City filmmaker Adam Scradam premieres his grindhouse-style chase short Combust! tonight at 7:30 at Tivoli Cinemas. It was partially shot in Sugar Creek and the Vine Street workhouse castle, and the cast is a mix of established local actors, amateurs and a local motorcycle club. In a press release, Scradam describes the 19-minute movie as “amoral” and “an examination of the taboos that pervade popular entertainment.” A gory still from Combust! depicts none other than a cannibal biker eating someone’s face, so … there’s that." - March 3rd, 2016
