Honored to be an World Inspire Finalists in St. Louis alongside FTC Teams 8686, 5466, and 6347!

We're thrilled to announce that we'll be competing at the World Championship in St. Louis! We advanced from NSR as the 2nd place Control Award winner while finishing 3rd in our division.

We had a great day yesterday at iSPACE in Cincinnati at the OH FTC Championship. We were the captains of the Winning Alliance, received 2nd place Inspire, and won the Think Award. It was great to see so many old friends. We'd especially like to congratulate our friends on Team Toxic on Inspire! We can't wait to see everyone at the North Super-Regional tournament in Cedar Rapids!

We had a great time at the Van Wert Qualifier this weekend! We were a part of the Winning Alliance with the host team (5501 USS Enterprise). They ran a great event and we made a lot of new friends. We also won the Control Award and Rockwell-Collins Innovate Award.

Our team also highly recommends Wild Willy’s pizza in Van Wert. Fun restaurant with a wide choice of specialty pizzas.

It was awesome to compete at the Southwestern Pennsylvania Qualifying Tournament this weekend. We got to meet up with a lot of friends and volunteers from over the years. Through being the finalist alliance captain, being nominated for Inspire Award, and winning Think Award, we will be advancing to the Pennsylvania State Championship.

At the Cleveland Qualifying Tournament, we won the Inspire Award, Promote Award, and were the finalist alliance captains. It was also wonderful to have two other Aurora FTC teams participating - RoboBacon and Central Intelligence. They're awesome teams!

At the World Championship tournament at Union Station in St. Louis, TBD was the a member of the event winning alliance. The team also won the Control Award and was nominated for the Rockwell-Collins Innovate Award and PTC Design Award.

Thank you to all volunteers for a exciting and well-organized four days of competition, teamwork, and memories.Congratulations to all teams that participated, as well! It was great to meet so many people!

At the North Super-Regional Championship tournament at the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, TBD was the a member of the event winning alliance. The team will be advancing to the World Championship in St. Louis, MO next month.

Thank you to all volunteers for a smooth three days of competition. The event venue was great! Congratulations to all teams that participated, as well!

Inspire Award winners from the 12 states in the north super-region!

At the Ohio State Championship at iSPACE in Cincinnati, TBD was a member of the winning alliance and was also the Inspire Award winner. Additionally, our coach Darren Thieding received the Compass Award as a result of his excellent efforts in coaching our team and Tyler was nominated as a Dean’s List finalist for his dedication to the values of FIRST. The team will be advancing to Cedar Rapids to compete in the North Super Regional. Congratulations to all other teams that competed and advanced!

At the Cleveland Qualifier at Cuyahoga Community College, TBD was the captain of the winning alliance and was also the Control Award winner. Additionally, our coach Darren Thieding received the Compass Award as a result of his excellent efforts in coaching our team.

At the Newark Qualifier at the Ohio State University at Newark/Ohio Central Technical College, TBD was a member of the winning alliance and was also the Inspire Award winner. As a result, we will be advancing to the Ohio State Championship!

TBD finished at the world championship as the winning alliance captain of the Edison division and as the captain of the event finalist alliance. Congratulations to all teams on a great season!

727 point Tesla Division qualification match!

At the East Super-Regional Championship at the University of Scranton, TBD was the captain of the Tesla Division winning alliance and was also the captain of the overall finalist alliance. As a result, we will be advancing to the world championship in April!

You guys use a go pro? I thought those weren't allowed to be used in competition. It looks really cool but at the same time I thought it wasn't allowed.

They’re allowed this year, as long as Wi-Fi is turned off. Rule states “video recording devices (GoPro or similar) are allowed providing they are used only for non-functional postmatch entertainment and the wireless capability is turned off.”
