i know ive blogged abt this before but does anyone else remember the study on the children w/ a broken furby who like. removed its skin and cut it into as many pieces as those who were present for the ceremony to be taken far away and buried as a means of appeasing it?? & they like?? defined the skin as the ghost and the rest as the goblin and both were angry that the children had killed it??????????????? please

Not only that, but if you notice at the beginning, the cat *gets the man’s attention* as any person who wanted to talk to a deaf/hoh individual would (well, and vice versa IME). I’ve done sign since I was 5, and generally, w/o eye contact initially, you wave a hand or lightly touch the arm (if that’s ok with the person you’re trying to converse with, of course).  Generally, adult cats meow mostly to humans, but this cat has figured out that’s not going to work and has adapted. Animal companions! They are INCREDIBLE.

Hey guys! This is my mum!

She is a beautiful, lovely, talented, and kind woman who has sacrificed so much for myself and my siblings. She also suffers from fibromyalgia, and essential tremor.

She makes a living through YouTube, creating videos on things like guided meditation, lucid dreaming, and a whole bunch of other topics! You can check out her videos here.

Her earnings have been down, to the point where she is about to lose her house. My mum is lucky enough to rent a cute little 2 bedroom house a couple of blocks from the water, and to be honest she is thriving there. For those with chronic pain, you know how much your symptoms can be influenced by your surroundings, and my mum is no different.

The second picture is what my mum calls her “magic little hobbit cottage.” It is her home. And she is at risk for losing it. If she loses it, she will be forced to move into my younger sister’s windowless basement, that doesn’t even have a kitchen.

Please consider helping my mum. She has a GoFundMe set up for those who support her work, and I am begging anyone with a spare dollar to send it her way. I will be sending her money to help cover her rent, but I can’t afford everything.

My mum is such a peaceful and nurturing soul, and it breaks my heart to see her in such a tight spot after working so hard. Please consider donating, or even signal boosting if you can. I can’t imagine seeing my mum living in a cold basement with no windows.
