Hello to all my followers, I know I haven't really been active on this blog at all, but with the recent, tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman, I am making an announcement. I'm literally speechless and distraught, such a sudden death for this wonderful man, a literal cultural icon as the king of Wakanda. What he did for black people, what he showed to the world that we can break barriers and succeed and achieve the unthinkable as heroes in our own right and in our own stories. He will be missed and certainly never forgotten. I will not be deleting this blog, as I want to keep it up as a time capsule to remember when we all had the time of our lives when Black Panther was first released. It was definitely a great time and I cherish all the moments I had in this fandom, especially appreciating the black fem content creators and joy we had together. I'm sure Chadwick wouldve been proud of you all.
TLDR; this blog will from now on be on permanent hiatus. Rest In Peace, Chadwick 🕊

10K FOLLOWERS CELEBRATION | TOP 20 MCU CHARACTERS (as voted by my followers) 16. OKOYE - i am not a spy who can come and go as they so choose! i am loyal to that throne, no matter who sits upon it!
This is the scene where M’Baku calls out Shuri during the challenge. I love that everyone surrounding her snaps to action, but please check out Shuri’s body-language here. Look at her face. She is looking M’Baku dead in the eye. Her stance is open and relaxed. She’s not the least bit intimidated. Also notice that Shuri’s mom and most of the Dora aren’t pointing those vibranium spears at M’Baku. They are effectively holding Shuri back. ….Just something to think about.
Something else to think about? How she met what she thought was her certain death.
Shuri is made to take the Black Panther mantle

i can think of nothing less king-like than blindly following in the tracks of others. the morality of the kings is your morality because you are a king. if you want new traditions and new morality—then create them.

What are those things on her eyes? Are those the people that she’s killed? She’s so beautiful and strong…

My Pops said Wakanda was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen. He promised he was gonna show it to me one day. You believe that? A kid from Oakland running around believing in fairy tales.
