   “ EEP--! u-uo-chan how long have you been there? “ it was clear as day that tohru was not herself today. the fever was most definitely taking priority over everything else and thus her senses were dulled all save for touch which she was much more sensitive than normal. the cool feeling of her friend’s hand against her burning forehead was much like a relief. she most definitely needed to have a cooling pad. maybe the sohmas had some laying around the house...

   “ o-oh... “ that’s right. there was no getting past uotani. she knew tohru way better than most others. it was no use lying when she’d definitely get caught. “ w-well... i guess i haven’t been sleeping the best as of late... i’ve been worried over my job and school work and the sohmas too. i guess i might have overdone it... sorry. “

IT’S HARD TO BE IN A BAD MOOD when alone with the ever - bright tohru . hanajima isn’t incredibly PLEASED to be stuck with cleaning duty , even if it is an INEVITABILITY , but she can’t find it in herself to feel truly perturbed . after all , tohru is SMILING .

“ it is , ” hanajima answers with a rare SMILE . “ do you have any plans , when you’re done here ? ”

   THE warm smile worn on her lips only widened even more when seeing the rare smile form on her friend’s lips. hanajima was one to not smile often so whenever such an expression graced her features tohru couldn’t help but feel warm and fuzzy inside. to be able to see her friend happy was what meant most to her.

   “ any plans? hm... “ tohru paused to think over the simple question posed to her. did she have plans? " i don’t think so... yuki-kun and kyo-kun each have their own things to do so i was thinking of probably stopping by the grocery store on my way home, but that’s not too important. “
