Spell to attract good vibes

⛤Hello fellow crafters! ⛤

If you feel down, this spell will help you increase your personal battery, in order to stay focused on your important tasks.

You can do this spell whenever you need it.

It will take you about 20 min, in front of an altar, or a clean surface.

⛤What you will need :

Paper and pen

A pair of scissors

A bowl

A candle (white one preferably).

Ginger (dry ginger works too)

Cinnamon

Little glass bottle or jar

The first step is, as usual, to cleanse your altar or the place you will do the spell. Then :

On the paper, write all the tasks you need to accomplish.

Then close your eyes and focus on the link between these tasks and your energy. What will it bring you once done? Motivation? Fullfilment? A feeling of accomplishment? Focus on everything like this.

Then cut your paper in little pieces and put them in the bowl.

Add the ginger and the cinnamon in the bowl while chanting 3 times :

"Spices, reinforce and give powers to my wishes."

Light the candle and continue focusing on the bowl and say :

"Energies, reinforce yourself until the light goes down".

Then continue to focus and meditate on these tasks. When you feel recharged, put away the fire (DO NOT BLOW ON IT).

Finally, put the bowl mixture in the bottle or jar.

When you need this reinforcement in your energy, don't hesitate to open the jar and inhale what's inside.

The more I read about British Traditional Wicca, the more I feel like the religion itself isn't the problem. Like many other religions before it.

Sure, Gerald Gardner was a creep and a half, and Doreen Valiente had her own issues. But Wicca itself? Not that problematic, if you ask me.

I can't say the same about all the modern eclectic Wiccans.

I’m not sure what people mean when they say “Wicca” these days. I know I’m not suited for a full out Gardnerian coven but half the stuff I see people yelling about Wiccans doing isn’t really, well, Wiccan.

Ah. Particularly white women. This may sound a bit odd but I’ve seen white women do the same thing to Wicca that they do to Hoodoo. They read some books (often written by other white women) strip out the things that make them uncomfortable, add in stuff for the aesthetic and then claim they practice the original tradition.

We’re understandably less protective of Wicca because it’s a sort of “white on white appropriation” and yeah, it’s really hard to defend Gardner. (Actually, it’s unnecessary to defend Gardner. Feel free to go to town on the man.) But I’ll admit I cringe a little every time I see a video where someone with jewelry glued to her forehead discusses the mother/maiden/crone thing.
