The Doctor hated having his concerns dismissed and went dead silent, merely giving her a Look and then turning for the console. The trip didnât take long as it was only spacial and that only to the outer limits of the city itself.
Gathering his things, he moved toward the door before stopping at it  and turning back to her. âI know what you should do, but I already know you well enough not to even try to ask you to stay in the TARDIS. Fine.  Unless you want me to have to greet the children with the news you have become the latest victim of the Autons I strongly suggest you follow my lead and keep as.. quiet as you possibly can. Now, come on.â Without waiting for an acknowledgement, he opened the door and looked around for signs of being watched before edging out.
His concern for her was appreciated,   but she couldnât afford to slow down. Not   when Angie and Artie were in danger,   because of her. â Deal,â she replied.Â
Clara peaked out after him, almost   unconsciously reaching out for him,   fingertips brushing over his coat. When   anyone else may have thought to run away,   to wait in the TARDIS, Clara just knew that   the safest place she could be was right   there with him. â No genius, but that   looks promising,â she whispered to him,   pointing to the Autons she saw, almost like   they were guarding the building.
He followed the direction she was pointing and his eyes narrowed. "Yes. Very promising. Almost too much so. One wonders why they're being so obvious?" He let the weight of that question hang there for a moment Gesturing over his shoulder to follow, he moved forward as quietly as possible.
"Stay close once we're inside," he murmured. "We don't need to get separated. We're the only chance those children have, and they need us all in one piece to get them out alive."
