❀❀ 𝓱ello, and welcome to 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝒖𝐫𝐞, a resource blog entirely ran by one creator named 𝐤𝐮𝐤𝐢 ( she / her ). at the moment, only templates will be posted, and drops will be made either sporadically, or done whenever i'm able to do - so; i.e when i can gather the motivation and energy to clean up the files ( please understand... ). i do not take commissions right now, but i am open to suggestions! i just can't promise i'll do them... ♡
for my content 𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐄𝐒, please look under the read more below!
you may edit my templates as much as you would like. to your hearts desire! but, i ask that you do not use them as a base for your own templates that you can claim as your "own". keep in mind that everything is for personal use only.
therefore, this goes without much saying: do not claim my work as your own.
if using my templates, i ask that you do not mix-n-match with other templates, unless the other creator has stated publicly that it is ok with them that you do so.
do not redistribute or resell my work on other platforms, or try to pass them off as your own. my templates are only available on tumblr, and payhip for purchase.
i do not take commissions currently, so please do not ask me about when or if i do at all. any message asking will be ignored and / or deleted (i'm very sorry!)
i make things when i have the motivation and time, therefore, i will release things when i find the same motivation to clean up the files and post them. i might post multiple things in a week, or once every couple of months. i'm just a tired person.
english only blog, i apologize!
if you come across any issues with my psds, you are welcome to send me a message via the chat or inbox. i will try to get back to you as soon as i can! ♡

hi kuki! please ignore this if you got my last ask but i was the anon asking for a tutorial on the transparent elements and where you find them. no rush but i just wanted to make sure you got it. thank you so much! ^>^
hi my dear! i am so sorry, but i did not receive any other ask but this one. 😣 but i make my own transparent elements! i can make a tutorial on how to do them soon! i am also so sorry for getting back to you so late, life has been quite busy. i'll have that tutorial done as soon as possible!
i want to apologise that this is very late, but i hope you still see this, anon! it took me a bit because i've been busy, & when i started, i somehow messed it up about 3 times (i don't even know how when i've done these countless times 🥹) but i hope this tutorial will help you! please keep in mind that i use adobe ps, and i know there is a free photoshop online called 'photopea', but i am not familiar with the tools on the website as i have never used it, so i have no idea if they are any different than what is on the official application! to begin the tutorial, click on the read more!
STEP 1. on the left sidebar, select the rectangle tool. it's closer to the bottom of the toolbar (as pictured). but pretty easy first step, right? 😋
STEP 2. i personally like to make sure my element is of even numbers in both dimensions, height x width. in the picture, i have labeled things with the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4. if you want to change a side on your element, either width or height without it affecting either thing, then you want to make sure the chain link is unchecked (1). next to that is where you will change the dimensions (2). you want your element to be solid (for now) with no border around it, so (3) is where you can change the color and remove the stroke. if you would like to make your element rounded, below that is where the magic happens. if you want all corners to be smooth edges, then make sure the chain link is checked (it will be dark!), then in the highlighted boxes (4), put a number (like shown in the picture). for smaller edges, i suggest between 5 - 10. for larger, more rounded edges, between 15 - 25.
STEP 3. this is another pretty easy step. on the right, you will want to change the fill (basically opacity of the inner element) as seen in the pictures below. sometimes this will very on how see - through you would like your element to be + what you are going for. it's entirely up to you!
STEP 4. once you have changed the fill opacity, you will want to double - click on the shape layer. don't click on the tiny frame or the name, but beside it instead. once you do that, a box for "layer style" will pop up!
STEP 5. when that pops up, we'll start off with giving the element a border (called a stroke). we're going to make this one see - through, so just follow how i've done it in the picture below! don't press "ok" or enter once you've done that , though, because we aren't done with this box just yet.
STEP 6. after you have given the element a stroke (sounds terrible i am so sorry), you'll want to give it a small glow, so click on the "inner glow" option just below the stroke option and follow the details in the picture! and again, don't press "ok" or press enter, we aren't done with the box yet!
STEP 7. and lastly with this window, to make the element "pop" out just a little, you'll click the "bevel & emboss" option. one again, just follow the details in the photo below and everything should be good. after you have done that, it's safe to finally press "ok" (or your enter key)!
RESULT. after you have done all of that, your element should look just like the one shown in the picture below. you are welcome to make your own changes, of course; play around with the settings of everything until you get what you like, and even try it in different colors (using the fill in properties)!
"button" element tutorial!
but wait, there is more! above is just one of the many other ways i do my transparent elements. essentially, they are done mostly the same, but with some little tiny changes depending on what i'm going for. below this, you'll find a tutorial on how i do my "button" elements (as seen in my "like u better" template). let us hop right into it, shall we? please be warned, this tutorial might be a little long.
STEP 1. just like with the first element in the first image of the tutorial above, you'll want to go back to the shape tool on the left toolbar, but instead of the selecting the rectangle tool, you will be selecting the ellipse tool. you can do a rounded shape with this, be it a circle or an oval. whatever you want!
STEP 2. now once you have done that, make sure you have an empty layer, then place the cursor on your image, hold left shift, then click and drag for a perfect circle. as i said, i like to make my elements even in both width x height. you don't have to do that, but it's what i do! as in the picture, follow the property details.
STEP 3. with this, instead of a solid fill, you're going to want a one - sided gradient in place. when you open the properties, click on the black to white icon (highlighted in the image) and it will automatically change the fill to a gradient.
STEP 4. and now once that is done, you're going to want to change the current gradient to the white to transparent gradient instead. there will be a tutorial on how to do that below this image! but for now, change the "linear" to "radial", make the scale 160%, and the method to "classic".
SIDE QUEST, ONE - SIDED GRADIENT ! click on the gradient as shown. when the gradient editor opens, if the colors are not both white, then click on the bottom tabs below the gradient to change the color. once you've done that, click on the top - right tab above the gradient and change the opacity to 0%. it should then look the same as in the images. after that, click ok and you should be set!
STEP 5. now, this one is easy. you will want to change the fill opacity from 100% to just 50%, or whatever percent you want. it depends, again, on how you want to do things! keep messing around until you get what you like.
STEP 6. after that, like instructed in the first tutorial, double - click on the shape layer. you can also right click on it and select "blending options" from the list. once the box opens, check "drop shadow" and put the details the same as the photo. if you want the shadow to appear more, just put the opacity higher!
STEP 7. continuing, once you finish with the drop shadow, you'll want to create a new layer for your button shape. the reason for a new layer is if you create the shape using the same layer as the other, you won't be able to adjust + move the button shape freely, but end up connecting the two. you can create a new layer by pressing the highlighted [+] button at the bottom on the right side.
STEP 8. once you do that, you're going to use the shape tool again, but this time, select custom shape tool. if you don't have any shapes, then you can either make your own (which would be another tutorial if wanted), or download some from deviantart! here is a pack to get you started, even. all you have to do is download, then open the file in photoshop! [ignore the highlight on fill, it's a mistake!]
STEP 9. on the new layer, hold shift, then click and drag the shape onto the photo. using your mouse or arrow keys, place it on top of the faded circle. following the details in the photo below, you'll want it to look how it does as seen! you can change the color by using the fill color option in properties! change the fill opacity to 35% (or higher if you want it more prominent).
STEP 10. once more, double - click or right click on the layer for layer style (or blending options if you right click!). click on drop shadow, then follow the details in the image. you will want the drop shadow color to match whatever color you pick for this shape, so be sure to copy the hex code and you can paste it into the color palette by clicking on the color box. the second image is OPTIONAL. if you want to give it a very soft outer glow, use the details in the second image before pressing ok.
RESULT. and then viola! this should be the final result of this transparent button element. i recommend following everything in this tutorial before experimenting, just so you can get the hang of things first and know what to do!
i once more apologise that this was done so late, but i hope that these two tutorials were very helpful. i tried to explain things as clearly as i could, so if you have any questions at all or need any help whatsoever, please feel free to reach out to me and i'll get back to you as soon as i can!

hii would you ever consider doing tutorials? i love the transparent effect you add to your layouts and would love to know how to do it!
hello! thank you very much for asking! i did do a tutorial for another effect i do in my photos, so i would be more than happy to do one for the transparent effects as well, i just need more specifics on which transparent ones you mean. 🥹 do you mean the elements in the templates, or the background?
