Gay men are just as guilty and just as capable of misogyny as straight men are.
I am so tired of people excusing and accepting disgusting misogyny from gay men because... why, exactly? They are just as capable of hating and making fun of women. Do you really think that sexualizing us is the only way in which men oppress us? And that's why you think gay men can't be sexist? Because that's not true. Gay men still view women as below them, btw.
And gay men are actually more likely to get away with their misogyny, too, because if you dare to call him out on it, people will do exactly what I see some BB fans doing, and they will try to cancel you for being "homophobic" for daring to criticize a gay man... Meanwhile I'm literally a bisexual woman who only dates women, but go off. Yeah, somehow I'm homophobic for disliking a man who happens to be gay. BECAUSE of how he's treated a woman. Be so for real right now.
And yes, that shit that Jason pulled on Angela an episode or two ago was fucking misogynistic bullshit. It was a prime example of a man manipulating a woman's emotions and using her by exploiting her heart and feelings and then laughing at her behind her back. Don't talk to me about how that was "just him playing the game." Game-related manipulation is (and forgive me, I'm going to use Survivor references because it's what I'm familiar with) the black widow brigade manipulating Erik into giving up his immunity necklace. You know why Johnny Fairplay's dead grandma thing is so hated? Because that shit wasn't game-related. And neither was the shit Jason pulled on Angela, nor the WAY he went about doing it. It's the way he basically mocked her and laughed at her behind her back... it WAS disgusting and it WAS a man manipulating and using a woman and treating her like garbage.
