Anyway I can't get over the fact that before the incident Lorelai would encourage Molly to speak up. Both of their parents were too in their own heads to listen to Molly's quiet complaints, but Lori is loud. And Lori would use her loudness to speak for Molly, and Lori would teach Molly to be loud too, and even though Molly was kinda bad at it she still felt emboldened by her sister's support and encouragement, if only between the two of them. The Zoo skit in the 5th anniversary vod kills me about them

This is my “erm actually…” moment but several characters are queer :D !!!! Put under spoiler tags because I mention characters in arc 2 and the book, along with material that has been teased for future books but only on some social medias, so consider yourself spoiler warned!!!! But TLDR a lot of it is “word of god” stuff outside of cannon at the moment because it just hasn’t had the chance to come up yet as romance is not a big part of Epithet!
Trixie (introduced in Prison of Plastic, cameo in the last few seconds of the animated series, one of Mollys best friends) is non-binary and uses she/they pronouns. In the semi cannon Halloween special they sell their “non-binary cooties” to their classmates for money to buy a Halloween costume. Feenie (introduced in Prison of Plastic, cameo in the last few seconds of the animated series, one of Mollys best friends) is bisexual.
A yet to be introduced character is transfem. (Unless this fact has changed since the cast reunion livestream) Some concept art for her was done in the prison of plastic release livestream if you want to get a peak at her, but she is slated to appear in the next book. (She can also be seen at the very end of the animated show but is not named)
In a QNA, Arnold and Crusher (the banzai blaster who calls out “I love you, boss!!!” to Giovanni) were revealed as gay, Gio and Zora as bisexual, and Percy and Howie as asexual
Percy is also written to be “intentionally ambiguous” on the topic of gender if I remember correctly. (I do admit, “intentionally ambiguous” may have been about if they were neurotypical, jello has mentioned the phrase about one of those things with her and I don’t remember if it was both or just on the topic of neurodiversity. I will go through his tumblr and check and add a screenshot here when I find it!)
