Who are you?
We’re a student-led FIRST Robotics team based in the Greater Nashua Area. We educate high schoolers of all ages on robotics, engineering, programming, and more! We also teach valuable life skills, such as leadership, communication, and teamwork. As our motto says, “Changing the Lives of Youth Through Robotics”.
What is FIRST?
So, FIRST is an organization dedicated to introducing kids to robotics and engineering through various challenges and programs. We specifically participate in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) every year. If you are interested, here’s the FIRST website.
Okay, but there’s a pandemic going on right now.
Thank you for your concern! FIRST has released a completely remote challenge this year! We’re currently going to participate in the Game Design Challenge (where you get to submit designs for a possible future game) and the BAE Minibots Challenge (this isn’t really a FIRST event per se, but it’s still robots!). Our team is currently meeting remotely due to COVID-19 concerns. Hopefully, next year, we’ll be back to building robots in person!
