Does this scare anybody else? So much change has occurred recently for the band and I just really miss the group of boys that I met in July 2010. I know they're the same guys, but they've all grown up so much. Whether this is a good or bad thing is up to each of us individually to decide, but it is evident that they have matured a lot. I mean, just look at the difference in subject matter from Suddenly to All the Way. Both albums are great (well, I can tell that All the Way is going to be great) but you can tell that the boys are a little different now.
I just don't know what it will mean for the band. I've always been the one that says we can't always expect meet and greets every night and personal conversations with every fan, but it is breaking my heart that we used to take stuff like that for granted, and now I fear that it's not going to happen for much longer.
No matter what, I will always love Allstar Weekend. They were the first band I ever felt this connection to and their music always makes me feel better. A lot of changes are in store for us, and the best we can do is be accepting. It's just really scary..
