Physical & Digital prototyping of our immersive exhibition hall project
Overview:
Our project aims to build an immersive pavilion made of shipping containers with graffiti walls representing indigenous and maritime qualities for high school students aged 15–18. The exhibitions are accessed via holographic projection through holes in the wooden displays, which contain artifacts demonstrating the North Shore Aboriginal people's lifestyles over time. Virtual reality headsets are everywhere. The use of mixed reality technology to reinterpret historical photography and video materials, such as the look of the ancient wharf and the Brisbane River, allows my target audiences to experience the evolution and changes of the North Shore in a more immersive way, strengthening their sense of involvement and belonging.
