:-) Dr Boris Habit with his little puppet friend and a completly innocuous pair of pliers. Unrelated ketchup stains on labcoat.

He is from the fairly new game “Smile for me” and the art style just BANGS. I knew Yugo Limbo’s arts (@yugsly) from a short film before and i just think the style is such a joy to look at so i tried capturing that in my figure as well as i could. Some things were a little harder to translate to a clay sculpture like those outlines but i think i found a good compromise c:

Jason Goes To Claire’s

I had a bit of an epiphany…. I realized i can sculpt anything i want, no matter how dumb it is, without any consequence whatsoever.

My friend and i were re-watching the Friday the 13th movies (as in, i was watching them and forced him to come along. Yes, we’re still friends somehow!). My boi Jason goes on many wacky adventures including going to Manhatten, going to hell and going to space. Jokingly we said in the next movie he should go to Claire’s. This is where the first paragraph of this picture description comes back into play.

In case you don’t know, Claire’s is some store chain that sells accessories and clothing and jewellery and make up and is mostly geared towards teen girls (i think?). I’s bright and pastell and glitters in there. Oh and apparently they had asbestos in some of their make up? Oh well, nobody is perfect. (if you work for Claire’s i’ll remove the asbestos part if you send me a coupon)

This whole figure is of course utter bullshit. As someone who likes Jason and someone who likes to go to Claire’s to get blasted with sensory overload this came natural. I’m not a Jason purist, i think some of the best movies in the series are the ones where it goes completly nuts, so i didn’t stick to any specific design here and just did whatever. I wanted to give him a bit of a hunched zombie like look tho because that’s what i feel like when I’m in claire’s. And i also tried to make the whole thing look a bit like a movie poster display kinda thing? No idea if that comes across. But the lighting was supposed to be a bit moody. Which is hard because… it’s fuggen claire’s.

Might sculpt Jason on a larger scale at some point, this figure is incredibly small so there wasn’t too much space for details. Still way too much time went into this considering it’s a mediocre joke that’s not even that funny if you think about it for longer. I want to do more stupid stuff like that!
