Oh shoot. Team Galactic ticked off the wrong pokemon. It was rampaging through the city... strangely, Mars didn't want it to kill any innocents.

"Stop this right now!" She barked at the Garchomp. "I can't let you do this!" She was then clawed by the dragon type. "...Dang it..."

It seemed as though the ruse may be up. Even so, Lucian continued to play his cards close to his chest, trying remain as inconspicuous as possible in spite of everything.

"Ah, hello there." he responded with a friendly smile, seeming completely oblivious to how utterly suspicious he likely looked to the Galactic member.

"I am but a humble academic. Although, I must admit, your uniform was of interest to me. Would I be mistaken in identifying it as Team Galactic’s?"

The psychic elite was well-aware of how badly this entire dialogue exchange was likely to end. With any luck, she wouldn’t question it. However, at the very worst, it could turn into a combat situation - the fact that she was ready to unleash a pokemon was not lost on him.

One could only hope that he was more believable than Agent Looker trying to put on an inconspicuous act.

Mars' eyes narrowed. She had to admit, this guy was a pretty skilled actor. But even then, he seemed oddly recognizable for a 'humble academic'. She seemed to loosen the grip on her Purugly's pokeball though, for if her suspicions were correct, he appeared to be from the pokemon league.

There would be no point in lying to the man, though. What kind of ordinary person would go around in this type of attire? Maybe she should have thought of wearing street clothes rather than her Team Galactic uniform... but it was too late for that.

"Yeah, what about it?" She asked with a bitter tone. "If you are truly just a wandering academic, it's probably none of your business." She figured she'd bring it up.

i definitely like the D/P plot the best out of all the pokemon games ive played. It features excellent development for the villains and honestly i just like how obscure it all was. It didn’t feel like clear good vs evil. And I really do love all of the villains.

"I said go away." She grumbled. "I don't need help from a kid like you."

"Team Galactic? Sounds cool! In that case I challenge you to a battle!"
