aight- just spent an hour or more going through my history once again, especially beginning of August since I remember reading it beginning of August- i think- I think it might have been deleted? Because i can’t find it anywhere & I did have a “content was deleted” while looking at my history for beginning of August, so i think they might have taken it down or deleted it- i don’t know i can’t find it 😭

but- in case it’s still up, i remember chapter three it had a really long back flash & we got to meet Wild’s sister & brother. Mother was said to be deceased. & since they lived in a village, the dad was a bachelor- & there was this lady who wanted to get with the dad, but when she got invited to dinner, she sees a green glowing figure (the mother) standing over Wild & his sister being like “you can’t have this family” & she decides to run away- i too would run away before getting involved with a family where the mother is haunting-

if anything- since i wanna get back into writing- i’ll try & do a similar story to that, maybe i’ll tie it into my own LOZ lore I’m working on & see where I can fit it? I think that story had an amazing concept & i think i would like to explore it if is that the story was deleted off ao3, I’ll definitely have to work around my timeline again 😭

So. I’m listening to the Josh Groban version of Evermore like one does. & it gave me a boost of inspiration. I’m into Royal eras, like the Edwardian Britain Era. Downtown Abbey type. & of course medieval times.

& my inspiration is, an era where some countries are in a Royal era, like US, Britain, Spain, Korea, you know, countries. But like a special era that I’m designing, & they all get along? Like, not really any wars, there’s a huge council that a King & Queen (Usually a Queen, we love Queens ruling over kingdoms). & we enter the era where the Council is getting old & well, we need new Kings & Queens.

Enter the main family, I’m a HP nerd so we of course have to have a huge family which I’ll be favoring the third born because he’s gonna be modeled after Percy Weasley, the love of my life. & all of these people will have love stories, the whole family, even the parents are gonna get their own backstory love story. & all will be modeled after Disney Princesses stories, except Snow White. & to spoil it a bit, the Percy in this story & his story will be modeled after Beauty & the Beast :)))

We are not dogs to be addressed like that. “How gringo is a slur?” No it’s not. Gringo is used to address non-Spanish people. It’s used differently in different Latin cultures but it ultimately means the same thing. There are many stories on how the word came to be. A popular one being, that when American military forces invaded the border, Mexicans would yell out “Green, go!” Over the years, it evolved into the word “Gringo”. Doesn’t mean it is. Like the end says “In Latin America, it is generally used to refer to non-Latin Americans.” & it’s used in different ways, like, for example. Food.

Seventh installment. Look. I’m bisexual, asexual. I’m a they/them bitch. I’m part of the alphabet mafia. But. In my opinion. If the movie/tv show, doesn’t need the LGBT representation, don’t add it.

In Encanto, the type of representation seen, is obviously Colombian representation. The movie isn’t about the LGBT. & if it was, it wouldn’t represent all the community entirely. It would represent Colombian LGBT people. Because, there is a culture difference in how families accept a person. Wether it’s the son, daughter, mother, sister. There are cultural differences. Because the perspective seen in any LGBT fanfic from Encanto, is a white queer perspective. It’s not a Latino queer perspective. Headcanoning Isabela as a lesbian, is not representing every lesbian, it represents Colombian & Latino lesbians. If Camilo was gender fluid, it wouldn’t represent all gender fluids, it would represent Colombian & Latino gender fluids. Latin queer rep is very much different from white queer rep. Just like headcanoning Dolores as autistic does not represent all autistic people. It represents Colombian & Latino autistic people.

It comes to the point of, if the movie does not have a white perspective, it will ultimately become a white perspective movie. No matter what the background is. Especially with white queer perspective. Just because Isabela doesn’t want to marry Mariano, doesn’t mean she’s lesbian. She’s 22. She’s not eager to get married. Camilo doesn’t have to be gender fluid just because he’s able to change person. He looks comfortable in his skin. Once again, we see him using it to make people laugh & be mischievous. Headcanoning Luisa as trans is both racist & transphobic. Many times were Latina women told we have to be sexy, have a fit body, to be slim & sexy. It’s good to see Luisa be buff, because it shows different Latina body types. & just because she’s buff, doesn’t mean she’s trans, it just means she’s buff & fit.

If the movie/tv show doesn’t need it, or already is representing something, it doesn’t need more representations. Especially when it shoved aside the representation that is shown.

Sixth installment. This might come as hate for Camilo but it isn’t. This is just Camilo & his fans & how so many of his fans just- irritate me with the way y’all discard the movie & stuff.

Look, if I went into this movie knowing that Camilo would be the movie’s pretty boy like every other show & movie, I would stayed six feet away from it. I would’ve. The way some people write him. They write him as an “UwU baby, flirtatious & suave guy”. Look. The reality about Camilo is that’s the annoying cousin. That is the reality about him. He was written to be the annoying cousin, every family has it. Every family has it. Hispanic & non-Hispanic families. You guys self project onto a character so hard, it erases the character. The little hand thing he did when entering Antonio is not a stim. It’s a Colombian thing. The little “eeps” & squeaks Dolores does are not tics & stims. Again. Colombian things. The colors on Isabela’s are not the rainbow flag colors, those are the Colombian flag colors. The little embroidery on Mirabel’s dress are not the Bi flag, those are traditional Colombian embroidery. Self projecting so hard, you erase the culture. Back to Camilo. He’s a child who openly is mischievous, using his gift to get seconds at breakfast, he makes people laugh. He’s not the suave, flirtatious boy you make him to be. He’s the annoying cousin in every family. & it’s the way you guys openly put this stuff online & it’s so full of bull.

“CAMILO 👏 DESERVES 👏 BETTER” implying he was ever treated badly by anyone. “HE HAD POTENTIAL & THEY DIDN’T GO INTO IT ALL!! CAMILO ERASURE!!!” Camilo erasure isn’t a thing. Culture erase is. When you spout things as “Camilo erasure” you look stupid, because that isn’t a thing. There is actual Culture erasure happening, LGBT erasure happening & you’re focused on the “pretty” of the movie. Who shows up less than ten minutes. & if anything, it would be Mirabel erasure because even in her own movie, she’s shoved aside for her annoying cousin. “I WISH HIS ROLE WAS MORE IMPORTANT” I wish that in the movie where the main character was a young Colombian teenage girl, her role was more important than the annoying cousin who shows up for eight minutes. Encanto not only gave you one but seven well complicated written women & you shove them aside for Camilo the annoying cousin & even Bruno the rat uncle. And. He’s not the main character, nor Dolores & neither is Bruno. Not even Isabela. They’re supporting characters but Mirabel is the main character.

Fifth installment. I will be talking about racism & sexism against women, if that triggers you, please don’t read.

I say sexism because almost of y’all begged Disney for well written yet complicated well written female characters with flaws & yet all of y’all jumped the wagon for Camilo y Bruno. You guys jumped for the next pretty boys. & this isn’t just in Encanto where it happened, I go on AO3, to read peacefully & when I find fan fictions where Padme is such a rude person or just so mean to Anakin & Obi-Wan for their own narrative, it’s so strange. Yes, get creative with your writing, creative freedom, but, when writing fan fiction, especially when the characters already exists, you can’t erase all of that just to fit your narrative of a story. This is Padme, we’re talking about. She was the queen of Naboo at the age of 14, later becoming the senator of the planet. She’s excused Anakin genocide, where he murdered adults, children & anybody with the slightest force touch. She’s written as such a mean character when she’s a very sweet lady. Anakin is not an “Uwu, baby”, he was a grown man. You aren’t edgy for thinking “I would do the same”. Be realistic yet creative with your writing. Back to Encanto, I see racism & sexism, when all 7 female characters are pushed to the side for Camilo y Bruno.

Let’s look at Pepa for example. You say she’s not in love with Felix when you use that ONE clip from “We don’t talk about Bruno” where she’s looking at Felix with such a face to claim she doesn’t love him when not a second letter she was all lovey doves with him & all over him. You use the line “Are you telling this story or am I?” To claim she’s unstable. You also claim that the scene where Camilo was zapped by lightning when Mirabel hit the wall to claim she’s abusive. It’s just you can’t stand the fact that Pepa does not fit the stereotypical Latina submissive wife. Pepa’s children never walk around on eggshells around her, they’re openly mischievous. Moving to my point, is it racism & sexism against Latina women? Because it looks like it.

Writing female characters as mean bitchy characters when they aren’t simply because they said something against your poor baby (Ashley Seaver haters-) is sexism in it’s own. Stop wasting everyone’s time by claiming your rewriting it in your own way & just said your sexist. Thank you.

How is Antonio being born ensuring the magic stays alive? Mirabel not getting a gift wouldn’t end the magic line. If we follow a story where Antonio was not born, that would mean at one point, Mariano & Isabela would have children, same with Dolores y Luisa. One of those kids bound to have a magic bone. One of them. Even Jared Bush confirmed that Antonio being born was not to ensure the magic would stay alive. To have a baby when you’re 45 is a huge thing, especially if both mother & baby are alive. There are a lot of health risks involved & some of them involve death. It’s a miracle. & to the people who still believe this & say “Wonder who force her” stop making Alma the villain.

So. To start, I wanna talk about this video that Thomas Sanders posted. The video was basically talking about Camilo edits & if he wanted to see the edit the adult lady made of Camilo. Now. Don’t take this as me accusing him as a pedophile or anything, I am simply pointing out, that it gets weird, if you as an adult are watching edits about a 15 year old boy. It doesn’t have to be liking him or simping for him but it’s kinda creepy. I went into the comments of the video & only one person pointed out that it was weird for adults to do these things. Watch edits & simp for Camilo. The rest we’re about Camilo (Another topic), saying he deserved more screen time, that they find him attractive & I can’t help but think, how many of those are children themselves & how many of those are adults. Because when you think that perhaps half those are children & half those are adults, you can’t help but wonder, what happened to when simping & finding literal children attractive became “normal” when you’re an adult. First off. Antonio isn’t the only child in the movie. Mirabel y Camilo are both children. If you’re writing or implying smut happened with underage children, you need to realize you yourself are a pervert. Just because you might be the same age as them or around the same age doesn’t mean you’re not. Ephebophilia, is the primary sexual interest in mid-to-late adolescents, generally around the age of 15-19. Which you said you were in the edit after I called you out. You also said you don’t write smut. If that’s the case, start wording your posts better because the winky face implies smut in the fanfiction world. Now moving from that, here’s another person. According to princesskoolcat, it’s okay to ship Madrigal Incest because they’re not fictional. I live by one rule in writing. Fiction reflects reality. That’s the rule everyone should live by. Because if fiction didn’t reflect reality, where would we get our ideas for our stories. Where do we get our ideas for a revolutionary story about teenagers, where do we get our ideas for medieval stories. Because of reality. We take inspiration from reality. Therefore, fiction reflects reality.

Being someone who ships Incest & calls peoples who do, “Superstars” is not someone who is a superstar. Especially if the Incest ship contains children. Shipping a fifteen year old girl & her fifty year old uncle is not cute. It’s disgusting. Same with cousins. Same with sisters & brothers. Disgusting.

SHOCKING. Super shocking that our mystery word is “Uncle”. Shocking. There’s nothing edgy, quirky or cute about shipping a 15 year old with her 50 year old uncle & thinking they would be a cute couple. Even if Mirabel was older than in cannon, it still wouldn’t make it right, it’s still incest & it’s not cute. They’re nothing like Rapunzel & Flynn. What they had was a hate to love relationship. Mirabel & Bruno are not an unexpected ship, unexpected would be Severus Snape & Percy Weasley from Harry Potter. Look- another person.

No. Don’t even try me. It’s very disgusting that you would ever consider shipping Bruno with his nephews & nieces. By “Sobrinos” do you mean the literal 15 year old & 5 year old? By “Sobrinas” do you mean the two twenty year old, the 19 year old & fifteen year old? & “actually might as well just go in for the full set & make all the madrigals poly…” n o. A poly relationship is between more than two partners in an agreement, whether they’re with someone else or both parties are with someone else. Putting the Madrigals in a poly relationship is disgusting. & for you to put “Selfcest/twincest” at things you don’t like or don’t want asks when you’re shipping a Madrigal incest poly relationship. How are you able to draw the line there but ship that?

Tiny but it has to be said.

The art of the Encanto fandom has shown me that the white fans of the fandom cannot for the life of them, can’t draw POC features. Look, even if it’s out of your comfort zone, try to draw them accurately to what POC features are. Don’t give POC characters non POC features because you are white washing them. It’s not hard to attempt to draw POC features, explore & expand your horizons with drawing. & if you can’t draw POC features, then don’t draw them.

First installment of “Why I hate the Encanto fandom”

Abuela Alma.

Now the movie is about generational trauma in a Colombian family. It’s about how generational trauma can affect a Latino Household. I see it in my family. How my aunts act around each other, my grandmother. I see it in Latino media. That’s what the movie is about. I saw some people comparing Abuela Alma to Umbridge from the popular book series Harry Potter. Now I wanna say- that is so stupid. There are a lot of major differences between Abuela Alma & Umbridge. One being a major one of Abuela Alma having trauma which explains why she developed unhealthy coping mechanisms. The same coping mechanisms she learned to overcome at the end of the movie. Umbridge is just plain evil, she deliberately used blood quills on children. Umbridge never had trauma that would explain why she is that why, like obviously Abuela Alma & Severus Snape from Harry Potter. The hatred the Encanto fandom has for Abuela Alma is because there is a need for a villain in a movie. A villain is a sort of antagonist. Which Abuela Alma is. It was never a full written rule that an antagonist has to be a villain. An antagonist just works against our protagonist. But it was also never a written rule that an antagonist could never change. Because if it was like that, then- Loki from the Avengers would never have a fandom, Bucky Barnes wouldn’t either. Just like Anakin Skywalker wouldn’t. Just like many dark characters wouldn’t have a fandom.
