“why does someone MATURE like katara fall in love with a CHILD like aang?” fundamental misunderstanding of katara’s character and her dynamic with aang. she was forced to mature because she lost her mom but she is still, at the end of the day, a fourteen year old child.
she falls in love with aang because he doesn’t just represent hope for the world but he also gives her back her lost childhood with his whimsy. she gets to be silly and childish with him and that’s so important for her.
this fandom tends to adultify katara too much. she’s literally a kid. and it’s okay for her to be.

Which means you can now search without AI results by appending “does trump have dementia” at the end of your search query!

...are all missing the point. The POINT being: google is actively tweaking their Gemini AI to protect Donald Trump from accusations of dementia.
We already knew google is a shitty company. We already know about google alternatives. But google is embedded in so many unavoidable systems, is the default search engine in zillions of products (Firefox!) and even devoted DDG users are still being fucked by google.
The fact that the #1 search engine is lying about the president's dementia should be bigger news.
Exactly this! This was always the point of the post. There’s a million easier ways to avoid the AI overview.
This was just a funny way to point out the fact that the most popular search engine in the world was actively changing its search results to benefit Donald Trump. Even if you don’t use Google, this should be concerning to you.

Oh nooo I hadn’t noticed that my cat’s automatic feeder was getting low on food so as usual she dashed off when she heard the machine start but I couldn’t hear the usual sound of her food falling into the bowl so I went to look and my poor cat was just. Sitting there. Staring at her empty food bowl. Then for a second she glanced up at me then right back to her bowl with the biggest, saddest, most bewildered eyes you could ever imagine on such a small creature. I filled her bowl and the machine right away ofc but I still feel a little guilty 😭
