Weak Willed Hatred
Kimber was ought to take a walk here often.
And whether arrows were flying down the halls and piercing the people beside her, it didn’t matter. The halls looked as safe and inviting to walk down as before.
She looked plain stupid walking down the halls carelessly, but she was also looking pretty admirable compared to those who didn’t venture off the walls or their rooms.
Though she didn’t see much people, as they were frantically running down the walls and trying to find places to hide, she still waved and smiled if she made eye contact with them. If she knew someone she’d be sure to add a cheerful, ‘Hi!’
And seeing the familiar blonde child she saw outside in the fields that one day, she didn’t exclude her.
“Hi! I didn’t get your name last time, what was it?” She asked, bending down and smiling at the girl expectantly.
Instead, she looked up at her with disgust. Which shocked Kimber.
Did she have something on her face? If she did, she quickly whispered to her earrings, (or her the remote version of her supercomputer Synergy), to make sure she fully disguised it. She wouldn’t have anything out of place on her face or body.
Maybe she did her make-up wrong? And by that she meant maybe she programmed Synergy to put it on her face wrong? If that was possible?
Or maybe it was her outfit?
Well, she didn’t see the problem with it. She was wearing the newest style!
Back in the 80’s.
The frown on the girl's face only grew as she took in the strange appearance of the woman. Weirdo! She shrinked back another step at the greeting. It took a few moments to realize where she had seen the woman before. She was the one who had caught the bird that the blonde had been chasing after. Oh how the girl wished she could get birds to stay around instead of running off on her. There was the one she had as a pet for a little while though.
"Mmm..." She stared harder, the blue eyes narrowing as though glaring would send the woman away. It obviously didn't though. There was a sudden longing for one of her dinosaur plushies to be with her. But sadly she hadn't been given any when she came to the strange hospital. All she had were the pink pyjamas that she had been wearing when they took her, and the pack of cards that were in the pocket.
"I don't like you." She suddenly shouted at the stranger. A hand covering her mouth quickly. She had just come to the conclusion that she wouldn't talk to the woman when she went ahead and shouted at her. That was silly. Oh well, it was too late for that now. Quickly the child stuck her tongue out at the older woman.
