Chapter Three: Band Rehearsel
Butters, Jimmy, Kenny, Red and Stan all sat in the bus together who drives them to Tegridy Farms.
Kenny and Butters sat next to eachother and Stan and Red sat next to eachother on the other side. Jimmy sat on his own on the seat before Stan.
" And how does it take until we are at your farm Stan?" Red asked.
" What?!" Red almost yelled.
Chuckling Jimmy turned around on his seat.
" C..c..c'mon ch..chill. Th..th..that w..w..way we c.c..c..could g..g..ge..get t..t..to know you b..better"
Red played with the zipper of her guitar case. Looking up she met the boys eyes all looking at her.
" Well what do you want to know?"
Butters sat on the windows side and leaned over to Kennys side. Kenny frowned at the blonde boy coming way to close to him.
" If you were a bear. What kind of bear would you be?"
Red frowned in confusion " What?"
Pushing Butters away from him Kenny glared at him for a second. " What the fuck dude?"
" I mean there are different kind of bears. Ice bear, panda bear, brown bear, polar bear, asian black bear, sloth bear, am.."
" Okay Butters. Jesus. Dude." Stan interrupted him.
Red looked between Stan and Butters and shrugged her shoulders. " I don't know. I guess I never thought about which bear I would be."
Butters nodded. " That's understandable. I'm not sure with mine either."
Changing the subject Red looked at Stan.
" Why did you decide to make a death metal band?" She asked him.
" Because I'm so done with my dad's shit. So I asked Butters, Kenny and Jimmy to join me. And also because I haven't seen Kyle back then for weeks."
" Yes. But It's actually pretty helpful to loose some steam. Also for us." Butters said.
Kenny and Jimmy nodded in agreement.
" Well I just like death metal." Red shrugged.
" That's really cool." Stan said and smiled.
" Yeah. None of my friends actually are into it." Red said with a small sigh. " But I think it's really cool. It's so underrated."
" Yeah. And mostly people think it's just noise and screaming around. But it's really difficult."
" I know." Red said. " I was pretty much surprised you could sing like that."
" You were there aswell? I didn't see you there."
Red pushed a strand of her hair behind her ear.
" I was sitting at the hot dog stand with my dad."
Rolling her eyes, Red hit him lightly on the arm. " Well of course I did. Imagine I would join a band I don't even like the music of."
Chuckling Stan nodded. " Yeah. That would be dumb." He scratched the back of his neck in embarrassment.
Kenny nudged Butters and whispered something to him and they both giggled.
" What is it?" Red asked curious.
" Oh nothing. Kenny just said you two could hook up."
" Goddamnit Butters!" Kenny hit his forehead with his hand and rolled his eyes.
" What?!" Stan yelled out. " What the fuck Kenny?!"
Trying not to blush Red joined in aswell. " I mean yes. Beside he's my second best friends ex. I couldn't start anything with him. Even if I wanted to"
The boys looked at her eyes narrowed slightly.
Coughing nervously Red spoke again: " Not that I wanted to. Seriously. I mean no way."
Kenny decided to put his hood back so Red could understand him aswell.
" I'm just saying Stan. You could actually go out with other girls aswell and not feel bad about it. Remember Wendy broke up with you."
Sighing Stan shrugged his shoulder. " Yeah I know. "
" And you told me you are over Wendy."
Now this was a big deal for Red. In surprise she stared at Stan. " You are over Wendy?"
Stan nodded. " Yeah. It took a long time. But yes I am."
" Wow." Red didn't know what to say. For as long as she had known him he had been absolutely crazy about Wendy. And now it was all over?
Arriving at the busstation Tegridy Farms the five got out of the bus. They got inside the barn. Stan had given Red the notes before.
" That's a good idea that we are practising here. That way we can be as loud as we want." Red said while she got her guitar out.
" That's what we thought too." Stan said and put his mic stand on place.
All five got to they're places. Except Red who stood there nervously.
" Uhm. I don't know where to stand "
"Go..N.ne..next tt.t..t..to St..st.stan." Jimmy said behind the drums.
Shrugging her shoulders Red stood next to him.
"A.alright f.f..fellas. And a o.one and a t..two. and a t.t.three." Jimmy counted and they all started to play.
Thirty minutes later they stopped.
" W..w..wow. T.that was p..pr..pretty lit." Jimmy said.
" Yeah you sound great Red." Stan said.
Red smiled. " Thanks Stan. You too."
" Should we take a break?" Butters asked.
Stan looked around at his bandmates.
" I mean if you want to." He shrugged.
" We could hang out in your room." Butters said.
Stan frowned slightly. " Yeah sure whatever."
So they all walked into Stan's room.
Red looked around in his room which he didn't like that much. It was just weird having a girl in his room and looking around what stuff he has. She noticed the board games he had on his shelf.
" Since when have you been playing?" She asked him.
Stan sat down on his bed. " Since I was addicted to that stupid Freenium game from Canada."
Red nodded. " So it's like a coping strategy for you aswell?"
Stan adjusted his hat. " Yeah you could say that."
" I like playing too." Red said.
Butters smiled in joy. " That's cool. We could all play together.
Jimmy joined in in agreement. " T..that g..good. You know w..w..what t..t.they s..s..say you n..eed a g..good s..sp..spirit for a g..good b..band."
Red looked down on the floor and grinned. " I'd love to."
They hung out in his room for another five minutes before they went to practise for another 30 minutes.
" I think we are good today." Stan said. " What do you say?"
" Yeah." Kenny said in agreement, which Red could understand.
Jimmy jumped of the drum set. " Ye.yeah I t..t..think I'm going home."
Butters yawned. Even though it was only six p.m. " Yeah I'm going home too."
" Yeah I think I'll get home aswell." Red said.
" I'll come later." Kenny said. " I have to talk to Stan."
Stan narrowed his eyes at Kenny. " Why do you need to talk to me?" He whispered at him a little sharp.
Kenny shrugged his shoulders pretending to play dumb.
Sighung Stan rolled his eyes.
" Bye." The three said and walked off.
After about two minutes of silence Kenny decided to speak.
Drinking from his waterbottle Stan almost swallowed on his water. Coughing heavily he stared at the blonde boy in shock.
" What the fuck are you talking about? No she's not."
" I know when a girl has a crush on someone." Kenny said as he sat down on one of the boxes. "Trust me I'm an expert on this."
" Why does it matter? She can't break her sis code with Wendy." Stan said.
" Yeah one time she almost tried to kiss you." Kenny said only to annoy him.
Thinking back Stan groaned.
" That was because all girls seemed to act like sluts."
Kenny smirked. " Yeah but she only jumped on you."
Not knowing what to say anymore Stan sighed. Frustrated he stared down on the floor.
" I'm sorry that you want some romance in our band Kenny. But this is not gonna happen."
AN: So now i'm done. Sorry. I always start writing the story here. And I have to save it multiple times. If I put the Hashtags down then the chapter is done. So I hope you liked it. What should come next?
