These ordinary banker boxes have been transformed into the Cardboard Robot Theater! Public visitors at the Lawrence Hall of Science got a MakerFaire preview of the working prototypes by TechHive teens.

Happy Cal Day! With help from PhD candidate Aidin Fathalizadeh and NISE Network’s Frank Kusiak, TechHive interns helped to explain and facilitate nanotechnology demonstrations using graphene, balloons filled with different extracts, and nitinol wire (commonly found in teens’ brace and retainers!)
TechHive interns get a behind the scene tour of Autodesk’s Pier 9 Workshop in SF. Big shout out to Keith Chamberlain, Louisa Holland, and Samuel’s mom Jodi Levin for making this happen. In complete swinging 3D awe!
