It’s been a minute, Tumblr.
I’ve started posting over on Micro.blog, and those posts will be cross-published here too—so things should be a bit livelier again.
Feels good to be back. Enjoy!

Thomas Edison have a Learning Disability
Thomas Edison was labeled as a ‘hyperactive stupid’ by his teacher in Michigan as he asked too many questions and was a slow-learner. He was terrible at mathematics, unable to focus, and had difficulty with words and speech. But by the age of 10 he had turned his basement into a chemical laboratory. He also used to sell newspapers, cigars, cigarettes, candies, on trains running from Port Huron to Detroit and then with the money bought a printing press and started his own newspaper - The Weekly Herald. By working hard in his life he overcame his learning and physical disabilities. He has been quoted as saying: “Genius is one percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration.” Learn about dealing with LDs. Attend a workshop by Tony Buzan Read more
