U-Nique is one of affordable warehouse here in cebu owned by Cheng-Lio Kua. A Chinese businessman claiming how lucky he is to handle this company.

It is comprises clothes,cosmetics and etc. I,myself bought their items to sell due to cheaper price and it is “Pasok pang masa” . Indeed, the company distributed nationwide. According to Cheng-Lio Kua to build this successful life wasn’t easy for him. They experienced difficulties in China wayback in their times. They consider themselves as poor of the poorest. Having insufficient wealth a businessman building his vision and goal so that, he tried to work in sari-sari store in china,eatery,house boy and employed as a caretaker at the age of 10 years old up-to 19 years old. He never stop to worked due to grant his wishes to have a luxurious life. In Jun 14, 1974 he experienced body pain and hard to breath . His mother was worried for his health because they can not afford medication for him. As the time goes by, he continue to build his dreams and having perseverance of his study. He never stop ,he never think to quit,he never surrender despite of difficulties he encountered. In the age of 25 years old he started owning a business —He carefully handle his company to expound more until his company is known in different places.

In this pandemic, he felt down and worried due to lack down . His company was close and he can not sell items to people due to the government policy. The rate of income was gradually falling. Mr. Cheng-Lio Kua he never stop to think to regain his wealth. A maid once said, they need to sell foods through online . He enlighten the words from sincere maid. They made it and sell the foods online and anywhere. Now, he surpass the hardship , little by little he regain his life from pandemic. He was happy because all his efforts was worth it. He solve the problems with faith and compassion. Before he was thinking they are living in a low class family. They have nothing in comparing to present times.

Thus, his story is making us to believe nothing is impossible . You should not give up,lazy, ignore the opportunity, consider yourself unworthy and etc. nothing is impossible if you have faith . All your worries/burdens will change into happy life and less sadness.

In 2020 this warehouse offer to all buyers in cheaper price . This is a new warehouse here in cebu located at Jamestown,Mandaue City and the other one located at Near Harrison Park.

Mr. Cheng-Lio Kua prove us that life must go on and life is too short to stop to pursue your dreams. You are the only one who can help to upgrade yourself from nothing.

The owner of number 1 hardware in Poblacion Medina are Mr. Evaristo Arot & Mrs. Carmensita Arot the hardware was name 30years ago MELVER COMMERCIAL HARDWARE and it is located at Capital of Medina the couple was invested a lot of money for them to provide their children needs and for living of the family. Happily the said store is still on going and even they expand their store anywhere in medina. They even have many Hardware stock for the supplies.

According to Mr. Eve he dream about being a businessman so he and her wife decided to build that kind of business that they able to manage verywell. He added because of his wife the said store cannot expand and live for 30years because his wife is so hardworking.

So i ask them What are the challenges that you encounter during this pandemic? They answered even theres no pandemic we had challenges encountered and we cant count it in our fingers. *LAUGH. Then the wife answere. Yes we had a problem but we never thing that as a problem but instead we do it as a purpose for us to be more hardwork to our business focusing more and we believe that God is there he help us and guide through all this journey. Sir Eve said. During the pandemic we closed our store for the meantime and for the safety of our co-working and for us. We lost our daily salary that time. Even our workers dont have job we make sure that they have foods to eat and we also help our neighbor by giving them a food.

I asked. Maam, Sir, What can you advice to those who want to build a business like yours? They answered. Just think about that this is your dream and you have a goals in life. Having a goals is not easy to achieved you have to earn it eagerly so you can have it. In that way even you have so many challenges that you encounter you are willing to start over and over again. You need also a partner that is proud of what you are doing and pray to God thats the best thing to do. Surrender your burdens to him and he will raise you up.

El Prisco resort located at Bangcud, Malaybalay the owner of the said resort is Mr. Antoniño A. Chan. he is 60 years of age. and Proudly says that he is my uncle. a hardworking uncle who owns so many business and one of it is this Resort. many of people went there to celebrate their special day. the resort is affordable and safe for everyone the reason people choose to be here.

According to him, being a businessman you need to be more creative in a way that you can think another business that suit to your self and you are willing to sacrifice in all circumstances. Mr. Antoniño is a smart man he thinks wisely, the reason he come up this kind of business and the reason he become a successful businessman.

During Pandemic Last March 2020 the said resort was closed due to Covid-19 and it was lock down in the Philippines and one of this resort was closed. according to him many challenges he experience due to this pandemic but he never give up. instead they expand their resort to have move entertainment to the customer for the time that the cases of covid-19 will decrease. the amount of customers that they lost everyday during pandemic will multiple by the time it will open. happily the resorts is now open and yes many people went there not just people from malaybalay but even in people from cagayan-iligan- butuan- etc.

According to him for those who are willing to follow his path. all you need to do is to give all your hopes in your business, and you need to believe in yourselves that you can do all things. and also we need to pray to our almighty god that he will guide us and all journey we encounter. because he cant do anything without God. he added that being a business owner has a lot of pressure and problems that we encounter but in that we need to over come of it.

HI! Everyone :) by the way for this week, I would like to share another stories on how this 2 entrepreneurs come up this business and what are those problems that they encounter and how they achieved this.

Lets start with this woman named, Mrs. Lourdes M. Arot she is an entrepreneur since 2017. this store was open on March 30, 2017 and according to her this is not the exact looked way back before. she only had a small store on her grand opening and she never thought that she come this far. she is mother with her 3 kid by the help of her husband they help each other to achieved this kind of business. it is not easy according to her, but they believe that the problem and challenges is a gift for us to strives to become a better person, a better entrepreneurs. So i asked her, have you encountered problems in your business? and how you solved it? she answered. Yes naman! again problems are everywhere we will just need to accept and faced it in every situation that we had. YES we encounter so many times but the most hard was that time there is a covid19. because before i earn 10k-15k per day because of students and jeepney drives the workers but now i only got 1k-2k per day. its hard that we need to operate even that we cant get the target market. still we didn't let that bring us down instead we strive hard and think positive always we all know that this covid19 will gone! in Jesus name .

Her story makes us inspire and believe in ourselves for us to success and be ready at all times. we know that having a problem is a sign that we need to strive hard to achieved our goals.

Another story to be shared..

We Filipinos loves to wear a unbranded clothes even used clothes specially those poor that cant afford the branded clothes. its not a bad especially when we talk about money. money is precious so should keep and save.

this girl was started to have her own Ukay-ukay store way back 2019 because she is a type of person really loves to go to cogon just to peek a clothes a used clothes. rich people call it cheap but for her its a blessings that she can afford to buy and have a clothes to wear.

She is totally a big reseller and also a supplier through facebook according to her she never expected that she come this far and shes so happy and blessed for this kind of business even its totally frustrated. she shared to me the problems that she encountered during her first payout to her supplier. she didnt know that there is a people that can sleep at night by doing scam. she got scam to her first supplier that was cost around 10k and the money she bought was for her tuition but instead its gone. according to her " I wanted to stop my dream but my dream is my dream nobody can destroy it and i have to achieved my dreams even i got failed. thank god i am here so blessed around people trusted me and i trusted the most."

What can you say about to the people wanted to be like you? she answered, just be true and believed in yourselves because we are the only one who can help to our self and to achieved our goals in life.

"Risk is the secret for the success"

Thinking about who will gonna interview about their business and how they come up that kind of business they build. Finally found Mrs. Reyes near in our probinsya at Kisolon Sumilao, Bukidnon. a very well known sari-sari store that tells me everything about her business.

So according to Mrs. Jane Reyes the owner of the said store was started on March 21, 2000. according to her at first she never thought that her small business will grow and expand the supplies they had. at first she only have a small space until such time she need to improve and expand the space for more customers she cater. so i asked her " can you tell me about the last time you encountered the problem you had?" and how you solved it?" she answered by tearing eyes. We really never know that being an entrepreneur has a lots of challenges need to be experience for us to be a successful entrepreneurs. she also added that. One day i never thought i would make it. i never thought that i will reach this far. in this kind of business it really need to take the risk for us to be a successful and that's the secret for me. taking the risk. so i asked her. "What kind of Challenges that you had Mrs. Reyes?". she answered. I took a risk and strive hard even there's a lots of competitors that open near me but still i fight for it even though half my profit lost. but still i continue and giving my best. i have a lots of kids to feed and to studies. also my paying bills. like water bill and electricity bills. because of my hard work we have a food to eat a house that light up and water that brings us shower so how come i will give up.

Her story makes us inspire and strive hard to achieved this kind of business we wanted. so being an entrepreneur is challenging. be kind and work hard.

Next was I went to Public market and saw this store a owner named Mr. Jose P. Tiago. he is the owner of this Bigasan ng Bayan in Public Market of Sumilao. i briefly ask some question about his business.

This was taken on March 17, 2021 a store that the "Taong bayan". according to him. he is just an laborer at this store when he was young. but in good term the owner of bigasan admire his working so the owner let him borrow so he can start his own business. he did really well as we can see there's a lots of stocks there and customers went by as i interview him. so i asked him "can you tell me about the last time you encountered the problem you had?" and how you solved it?". he tears his eyes and said. that time i lost my wife. I remembered that because of my wife i become a good businessman. and i will not come this far without her. the time she died because of cancer my store got also cancer my stocks got molded and lots of worms on it some got already wet and damage because i closed it for how many months. the reason i lost so many stocks and customers. but one day my wife visit in my dream she tell me that i need to stand up and open to what we working so hard for so many years. and saying " Honey pangabri nas tindahan apas rako" that makes me giving hope. and i dont want to disappoint her. so i stood up prepare myself and started again. i clean up everything wash out and asking for new supplier so i can moving on and started again. it was really hard but still i did it because of her. I trusted to give some discount to the poor people and even give them some free for giving me a chance for this kind of business. thats why people called this store "TAONG BAYAN" and i never thought that i could reach this. without the them i cant stand on my own again.

Mr. Tiago makes me cry while telling me his story about his wife. we all have many challenges in our life. the most important is how will we come up and accept that challenge in our life. we cant tell how far we save it but the matter was we never stop trying.

Mrs. Gloria P. Llego, who is my aunty, is a businesswoman. She was a woman who put forth a lot of effort. She began working in the eatery business in 2012. It was built from scratch. She took out a loan to fund the start-up of her business. It’s not new for her to have a business because her family was impoverished when she was young, and her father had already trained her to have an income when she was little. But, sadly, the biggest challenge she is presently facing is the pandemic; many people are low on funds and cannot afford to buy certain items, and dining in is also restricted due to the virus. But, as of today, she’s noticed that her restaurant’s income is gradually returning to normal. She was passionate on keeping her ’suki customers’ coming back. She expressed her gratitude for everything she received today, and I can tell that my aunty is a successful businesswoman.

Sir Oscar C. Salcedo founded the Merry Child School in 1995. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in teaching and was licensed as a teacher after graduation. He also spent four years as a teacher before pursuing a Master’s degree in school management. Later on, he earned his certification as a principle or school administrator. This was the backstory behind his current successful entrepreneur/presidential administration. He used to be simply a simple boy who aspired to be a successful guy in the future. He faces many challenges in life, but he overcomes them and grows stronger and more clever as a result. ‘Slowly but surely, we can do it,’ he said. It states that everything has a step to take, and that there is no shortcut or alternative path to become a successful person. Mr. Oscar Salcedo, in my opinion, one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the field of education.

How to be successful in life?

To some, when they think of success, they imagine wealth; others want power; some just want to make a positive impact on the world.

All of these are perfectly valid, indeed success is a concept that means different things to different people. Though no matter what success is to you, it almost certainly isn’t something will come easily.

BRYLL MANGAPIS , he is business owner of boarding house. According to him, "if you want to have a business in life. You need to pursue your desire and follow what is your entails direction. THINK BIG,TAKE RISK AND LOVE YOUR BUSINESS. Actually, he stayed here in a long run years to handle his boarders. He is 22 years old, and can you imagine in his age he has already a house . This house is "MANA" to his mother . He is the only one child and he has no choice to manage and to continue the legacy of his mother.

His passion,hardwork and positive mind makes me awaken the reality to think positive and go beyond your imagination . Set goals, have vision and think big. His stronger mind call us to wake up our poor mind of thinking.

What is success? There are many definitions, but there's one thing all the greats agree on: Success only comes by persevering despite failure.

Starting a business can be exciting and scary at the same time. When you hear stories about how many businesses go broke or how many relationships fail due to the pressures of starting a business, you can be forgiven for wondering why anyone would even contemplate it.

At first glance, understanding why one business is successful and another isn’t can seem confusing or random. Like we all exerts same effort, sacrifices, time, money and patience but why not all us succeed? What is on his or her what we lack?

Because of this, I checked some entrepreneurs how they did it.

This is Ms. Jenevieve Rodriguez from Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City, a friend of mine. In this picture, it is the opening of her 2nd store. She’s passionate, visionary, focus, courageous, patience and a risk taker. She started doing RTW business by selling it through Facebook. It was never easy she said. She had to carry all the items and meet her customers in the location they agreed on. Sometimes, during her meetups some would not show up and there she was waiting there hoping they will arrive or else she had to go home and carry all the items. There were times too, where it’s raining so hard but she needs to deliver the items. Despite the challenges she encountered, it didn’t stop her to pursue her goals. She knows what she wants in her business. She thrives hard to gain more customers and deliver good quality items. And then, all her hard works were rewarded eventually. From selling through Facebook with no physical store, to an entrepreneur with 2 physical stores now in Carmen.

Her personal motto "There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot make a difference in this world: those who are afraid to try and those who are afraid you will succeed."

And here’s me, Nova Jane M. Luzano, from Lapasan Cagayan de Oro City, the authors of this week 2 blog. A small entrepreneur. I started doing my business at 2016 with a 200 php. Now, the 200php made me here, I am now a 4th year college student. All the money I need to finance my college journey is from my business. I wouldn’t be this far if I haven’t done it for sure.

We shared the same challenges with Ms. Jenevieve, I am selling my items through Facebook too. Deliver items even if the rain is pouring. I even have to secure that my items were safe and will not be wet, I don’t care though if it means I have to sacrifice my body and put the umbrella on the items. Sometimes, the sun is scorching and I am in the road waiting for my customers to show on our meetups. I am carrying heavy items, sometimes bulky items but it makes me happy. Hard works means extra income. Before, when there still was a face-to-face class, I will come to school with 1-3 big Eco bags of items that I have to meetup or deliver after my classes. I would walk away as fast as I can when my class is over and head over to finish my business things. After meetups/deliver, I would be going back to my next class. Sometimes, I will be late because I was stock on a heavy traffic while delivering or sometimes my customer was late on our agreed time.

I love doing business so much. it makes my me feel so alive. I like making small money turns into a big one. I like taking risks. There were no easy steps in business, you need to have a fighting spirit. To move forward even if the steps were difficult to reach. I had many losses doing my little business, but it didn’t shake me. Losses are inevitable in business, but that’s why it is called business. You either gain or loss. Loss will always be part of it. You just have to learn what causes the loss and make better choices next.

My personal motivational motto "Would you like me to give you a formula for success? It's quite simple, really: Double your rate of failure. You are thinking of failure as the enemy of success. But it isn't at all. You can be discouraged by failure or you can learn from it, so go ahead and make mistakes. Make all you can. Because remember that's where you will find success."

If you’re wondering how to start a business, it may be easier than you think. Like other successful businesses, you’ll want to make sure you have a good idea first. From there, you can build a product or service that solves a need for consumers. But before you jump into anything, you’ll want to make sure you do your research.

Running a small business can be both a lonely and fraternal experience. It’s lonely in the sense that no two small businesses are the same. Every entrepreneur has to deal with a unique set of circumstances and factors that are specific to their business. On the other hand, it’s fraternal in the sense that small business owners stick together.

So here's their stories how they come up to build their small business from the start.

This store is located at Fatima Subdivision Pagatpat Cagayan de oro city. Mrs. Maria Linda Taclob a 48 year old is the inheritance owner.

according to aling Linda this store was started on March 4, 1998 when her mother retired from their work, so they decided to build this kind of business without knowing how to manage it. but as time goes by her mother knows the strategies to run this business by the help of her father and also her siblings. The family of aling linda help one another to run this business. The first income they come up was enough for them to feed the family and went to school. until such time the profit sold by multiple which makes the store expand and helps to finish their studies. there are times that multiple neighbors starting to build a "sari-sari store" near by, so the profit that they usually they come up everyday went slow. but the family of aling linda didn't stop because they know that every business must need to be more in patience and keep faith.

at the age of 15 aling linda lost her mother due to cancer and his father a year after. aling linda was the older of the family so she is the one who will manage the said store. she's trying to be like her mother strategies.

The biggest challenge that they experience was during this lockdown due to covid19 they didn't expected that this pandemic will make them suffer. but they still thankful they still have foods that stores in their house but when we talk about their business they really lost a lots of income profit during lockdown. they lost so many consumers and they closed their store for a couple of months. but now they continue and trying hard to gain what they lost. they never give up nor surrender.

The Story was very whelming.. so here's the suggestions for expound the business.

Starting a business requires analytical thinking, determined organization, and detailed record-keeping.

It’s important to be aware of your competition and either appropriate or improve upon their successful tactics.

You’ll almost certainly end up working harder for yourself than you would for someone else, so prepare to make sacrifices in your personal life when establishing your business.

Providing good service to your customers is crucial to gaining their loyalty and retaining their business.

I went to other block in the Fatima Pagatpat and i saw this carenderiya which the owner was Mrs. Maricar Santos. She is a single mom with 2 child.

according to her the first thing why he come up to have a small business like this was because she needs money to pay their rents and to supply the child's needs and education more. she started to cooked a little of amount of foods like adobo, cari-cari, minudo and course 1 kilo of rice. she also has a small amount of supply for the need of the customer. until such she add another recipe to make her customer choice a lot of variant.

According to her because of this pandemic she loses a lots of customer and struggling to pay her debts but she didn't give up and continue to serve even there's a pandemic.
