TechSwizzle #2 to feature sonic stylings of Artistin.us

Last month's Tech Swizzle was a hit and we want to see the same turn out this month. So save the date for happy hour Friday, October 4th from 6-9pm at the LAB Miami.

Not only is this the best $5 networking event in Miami -- beer, music, smart, funny people -- but this month we'll be supporting a worthy project that's homegrown right at LAB Miami.

Join Sweet Willie Roll Bar and Jen$ who will be spinning some beats that will make you shake a foot! While you're there, pitch in & support the launch of their Kickstarter campaign called (in)vision by Artistin.us.

They hope to create an interactive art installation to premier at Art Basel 2013. 

And if the great tunes aren't enough....

.... we're super happy to announce that Moty's Mediterranean food truck will be at Tech Swizzle serving up happy hour deliciousness! We can't promise there will be a storm trooper, but we can guarantee great falafel!

TS#1: And a fun time was had by all!

Thanks to everyone who came out & made our inaugural Tech Swizzle such a success! Representatives of the tech, business & art scenes really mixed their business & their pleasure with lots of style. 

We especially want to thank Akerman Senterfitt and their Akerman_In project for celebrating their new residency at LAB by underwriting the awesome sounds of the Gold Dust Lounge.

Wynwood favs Gold Dust Lounge to kick off first Tech Swizzle on 9/6

For an event whose stated mission is building bridges between Miami's various creative and business communities, it's fitting that our first TechSwizzle will feature the slinky acid-surf spy-fi stylings of Wynwood darlings Gold Dust Lounge.

Each of our events will feature one of Miami's best local bands from 7-9pm -- we want you to have a little sizzle with your Swizzle!

Welcome to Tech Swizzle

Tech Swizzle is about to become your favorite Happy Hour!

Do you go to Meetups to network, but end up leaving before the talks and presentations begin? Then Tech Swizzle is for you!

As our local entrepreneur community grows, so should the opportunities to meet people who will make a difference for your business. Tech Swizzle is more than networking, it is an opportunity to mix business and pleasure.

Tech Swizzle is a Happy Hour networking event bridging the tech, art, design, music and the business communities, which are all interconnected and fuel each other. Investors, programmers, developers, designers, musicians, artists, entrepreneurs and service providers will have the opportunity to freely mingle without an agenda.

We believe when it comes to making connections, sometimes you need you just need to unwind and focus on the networking.

This is the only Happy Hour networking event where you can catch up with friends and colleagues, make new connections and collide in a laid back atmosphere over some cold beer and live music entertainment. 

Each Tech Swizzle event is only $7.50 per person for unlimited drinks, or you can buy a yearly pass (good through December 2013) for just $20 through LAB Miami’s Eventbrite page (insert LAB EB page here).
