so apparently somebody leaked to the media that ed and cherry were engaged and the press were planning on publishing the story yesterday whether ed said something or not. there aren’t words to describe how upset and heartbroken and angry i am that this happened to ed. yes, i was sad when his announcement of msg, multiply, and wembley were all ruined by the media, but this is much worse and completely different. an engagement is extremely personal and special, especially to ed who has repeatedly expressed how excited he was to get married and have a family. this isn’t information that ed should have been pressured into sharing with the world. it was private and he should have been able to share it when he wanted. i’m so sad that the media has decided to be this invasive to ed and i hope he’s okay and that he knows that his fans are happy with whatever he chooses or does not choose to share with the public :(

I found this on facebook so I don’t know who made it but it was not me and I’m not taking credit for it. 

I just wanted to share this because I think it’s important. I always see the reminders to drink water but I don’t really see anything about getting sunlight. I know if it’s been a while since I’ve actually spent time outside I get depressed and start to feel down. Also the fresh air helps clear your mind when you need it. Just my two cents.

Is Ed getting Married soon?

Ed is in love, so anything could happen! But also he has said that he and his partner both have lots of career-related things they want to accomplish before officially settling down. And he will be touring the Divide album for the next two years, so my guess is he would want to wait until a good long space between tours in order to do something like that. 

I believe this rumor started when Russell Crowe referred to Ed’s partner as his fiancee in a radio interview. Ed has said several times that he does think he and Cherry will eventually get married, so whether “fiancee” is the technically accurate term right now or not, nothing has really changed. (And especially not for us as fans, because their relationship has nothing to do with us.) I’m kind of surprised that so many people were shocked about the word, considering what Ed has said in the past few months about wanting to start a family with her and have chubby babies and stuff. But if it makes anyone feel any better, Russell could have just made an assumption based on the fact that he knows Ed has said that he and Cherry will eventually get married. That would sound like engagement to anyone, whether it was technically official or not. 

Keep in mind, though, that some people use terms like that to refer to their partners even when it’s not official. I remember Ed himself referring to his ex girlfriend as his wife in a livestream years ago even though they were never married, and he has also called Stuart’s partner his wife even though they’re not actually married either. :)

I am so sad I didnt get Ed Sheeran Live in KL tickets and so mad at the same time too because I was friggin there the whole time but the system lags and I even rushed to the physical outlet only to know that it was sold out :(
