Hey all! So our big bang creators are getting on great and we should have 10 amazing fics for you to enjoy coming at the end of the month.

However, as people will know ... Ted Lasso S4 is coming next week and with that I wanted to remind people of our creative corner of the Ted Lasso internet.

Our discord space is all about creativity and trying to encourage each other into making fics, art, fanvids, whatever you want particularly focusing on Ted Lasso. It is the home of the Ted Lasso Big Bang (which will be making a return in 2027) and there will be monthly events including one that I am excited for in October that is about S4 (called Meanwhile, Elsewhere as a little spoiler)

(it is not a space for discussing the canon and so therefore will be a discourse and spoiler free area)

A Big Ted Lasso Request

We have had absolutely spectacular response to the Ted Lasso Big Bag 2026 and have 14 incredible fics that are coming your way around the Season 4 premier as a great celebration

However

I am currently struggling with artists for the exchange and am roughly 5 pieces of art short of matching everyone up. Therefore I am here and begging. If anyone would be interested in being involved please reach out whether it's an ask or a message or filling out the form. We have a massive variety of fics and any creative pursuit apart from writing counts for the art requirements!

It is a wonderfully supportive group of writers and artists already and I would love for this to be just as successful as last year.

It is an incredibly casual and fun event if I do say so myself and there is a great sense of accomplishment getting that big project (at least 15k which isn't that daunting if you break it up) out and seeing the amazing art that you receive. Posting will be around Season 4 and so a good way to celebrate or commiserate as well.

last month I wrote drabbles for every prompt in the @tedlassocreativecorner daily drabble challenge then was too anxious to actually share them anywhere as I hadn’t shared any of my ted lasso fic before

after some feedback from friends I found the confidence to pop them on ao3 today if anybody is interested in a collection of 30+ drabbles that mostly revolve around jamie tartt whump

turns out drabbles are a really good way to practice/refine character voice for fics and a great confidence boost when you’re new to writing a specific fandom or character so thanks to the ted lasso creative corner for creating this challenge last month

day 28 of the @tedlassocreativecorner February daily drabbles challenge

Ted watched Coach Beard be wheeled from the plane with a mixture of sadness and relief. 

His friend hadn’t said anything when Ted first told him he was leaving AFC Richmond to return to Henry and America, but had merely started packing. Apparently he had emptied that suitcase and filled it with rice which Ted didn’t fully understand but he had stopped trying to make sense of Willis Beard around second semester freshman year. 

Ted was glad Beard wasn’t following him. He would miss his friend, his confidant, his safety net; but he needed to do this on his own.
