A girl and her collection of dumbass shirts she happened to accumulate over the years
15? (for the ask meme)
15. Is your OC easy to love? If not, then what are the barriers?
Definitely not! She's needy and requires a lot of attention and physical affection, she's jealous, she's bad at communicating, she's insecure and anxious and thus prone to overthinking and overinterpreting so she requires constant affirmation, she's stubborn which especially comes into play when she (for once) insists on something...
On the flipside (so the cup is not entirely empty but only half) in a relationship she's cuddly and lovey, she's genuinely curious about the other's interests and willing to learn so they can share, she appreciates any and all gestures and thought spent on her, and she generally likes taking care of her partner, so it's not like you don't get anything out of it. It just requires a patient person.
Curious about 1, 4, and 14 from the ask list about love!
1. Does your OC have any difficulty distinguishing between love and lust?
Yes. Even though it (usually) takes her a while to develop a physical attraction to somebody, she's much more likely to think of feelings towards somebody as lust rather than love. So she finds herself constantly wanting to be around somebody and wanting to hold their hand and kiss them all day and cuddle and chat, and (because she is both touch-starved and a physical love language person) concludes that she must want them physically.
4. Does your OC consider themselves to be attractive? Do they put much effort into achieving this?
While she does think of herself as attractive on an objective level, she views it as something detached from her person almost, as in, there's her body, and there's the image of her. In a way she sees it as a tool, because it makes some situations easier, but it's also quite annoying to her because she hates getting hit on or talked to. She places no real value on her attractiveness though, so she doesn't put effort into that, but she does want to look put together (hair brushed etc.) when leaving the house. Also she goes out for runs regularly but it's less for her body or looks and more so she doesn't get rusty.
14. If they wish to impress someone for whom they have romantic (or at least sexual) feelings, does your OC attempt to present themselves as more confident, wealthy, popular or otherwise impressive, than they truly are?
She rarely finds herself in the position of wanting to impress somebody (she'd rather shy away from attention) but when she does, she usually tries to make herself look more appealing, mostly via body language, meaning that her posture gets a little better and her movements become more elegant/refined/attractive.
3 and 6?
3. What does your OC look for in a romantic (or perhaps purely sexual) partner? Is this always healthy?
Most prominently she's looking for emotional comfort (in both romantic and sexual partners). She's not really the kind of person for hookups, but when she's particularly distraught, she feels extremely unloved and unlovable and thus looks for a guy (if possible one she already knows, ideally a friend she can trust) to make herself feel wanted/liked in some way. She needs the external validation, given that she has no sense of self-worth and can't love herself.
6. Has your OC ever had their heart broken? Have they ever truly recovered?
Xero ultimately leaving the relationship tears her apart and it takes her a very long time to work through the grief over it, and even though she manages to restabilize eventually, it'll always be a big part of her. Xero visits her now and then once she's back on her feet, but she goes through the same grieving process (on a smaller scale) every time they go. So no, she doesn't ever truly recover, but she persists in a changed form.
In the AUs where Dwyer breaks up with her, she's also a mess, but she does fully recover from that, eventually not spending any thoughts on him anymore.
A Short Ask List About Love.
Does your OC have any difficulty distinguishing between love and lust?
Is your OC at all romantic themselves? Or is romance something they expect others to perform for their benefit?
What does your OC look for in a romantic (or perhaps purely sexual) partner? Is this always healthy?
Does your OC consider themselves to be attractive? Do they put much effort into achieving this?
Would your OC ever take advantage of someone's romantic feelings in order to manipulate them?
Has your OC ever had their heart broken? Have they ever truly recovered?
What is the most romantic gesture your OC has ever performed? Alternatively (or additionally), what romantic gesture would they most like to perform?
Does your OC pursue only monogamous relationships? Or are they open to other, more creative, options?
If your OC were ever to fill out a Dating Site (or pamphlet or newspaper) profile, then what would they include?
Does your OC have a type? Have they ever been surprised by their feelings for someone who doesn't fit this?
Has your OC ever been the object of someone's affections that they did not (or could not) reciprocate?
If your OC were in love, how might they recognise this? Or would they be too much in denial?
Has your OC ever written a love letter (or text message or whatever the case may be)? Perhaps they have even composed a love poem or song dedicated to their beloved?
If they wish to impress someone for whom they have romantic (or at least sexual) feelings, does your OC attempt to present themselves as more confident, wealthy, popular or otherwise impressive, than they truly are?
Is your OC easy to love? If not, then what are the barriers?
You've been gone for a while now.
When will you be home?
“But if you’re feeling lonely, I should be back next week.”
𝐎𝐎𝐂 ⸺ For context, this iteration of the Ouroboros came to Earth in a certain organisation’s attempt to study a “Void Mirror.” The organisation’s experiments went awry, and all personnel in the remote facility perished upon assimilating with the entity that came from beyond the mirror (the Ouroboros). While this entity was initially detained by for further research, it managed to escape and disappear by replacing the human Itsuki Amano and taking over his life.
After many years, the organisation tracked the Ouroboros down and gave it an ultimatum: It could either fake Itsuki Amano’s death and voluntarily submit to incarceration, or the organisation could force it to return by killing all of its friends. Naturally, it chose the path of least resistance. The above comic depicts the Ouroboros on probation; it is allowed to live amongst humans (posing as one in public), but must always be on call for when the organisation requires its abilities. Its current case features a series of murders that reek of a desperation that reminds it of Killer Girl. }}

Cute aggression
((AU where KG gets sent to an international school and cannot stop the uncontrollable urge to bully that one guy in her class who just keeps setting her off by daring to exist, until he ends up asking her out and proceeds to concern his friends because she's not being very normal about it.))

Dimitri was initially cis in the International School AU to enable hot guy in school shenanigans, but more and more I feel like he has got to be trans because this would be so funny

If KG had been born a boy (ergo Killer Boy/KB) and had been brought up in the same conservative environment she was, he would struggle with admitting to himself just how xerosexual he is. So if Xero took the reigns - well KB would not be trying all that hard to stop them.
