Introduction

Hello! ᕙ(`▿´)ᕗ I am an 𝘈𝘮𝘣𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘢 𝘮𝘦𝘹𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘮, also known as the axolotl! Or the Mexican-walking fish. Our name comes from an Aztec word meaning water dog or water monster! Baby axolotls are called larvae. We are a type of amphibian specifically stemming from salamanders, but we don't lose our gills going into adulthood. Instead we keep on living under water, our gills being our most prominent feature. They're the wisp like things attached to our head! ❤(ˆ‿ˆԅ)
