Heyo! This is my Vox yumeship blog for CathVox / StaticCleanse . . . Those who know me are very aware of my obsession, otherwise, welcome!
I am OK with sharing but I still have my boundaries → [Any statements along the lines of "I love Vox more than you do!" or "Vox only loves ME!" make me uncomfy and WILL be blocked...]
I will mostly be posting art here, but I will also be occasionally writing fics + hcs + drabbles whenever the ideas come to me!

Cathy was a humble housewife in the 50's. Unconditionally devoted to her husband 'til her final breath. Even as he gradually began to skip on dinners. Even when he eventually stopped coming home. Even when she found him with another woman.
Cathy had found herself sitting atop the bloodied body of the woman she had viciously stabbed, her hands still gripping the handle of the knife. The knife that was still deeply imbedded in the woman's heart. And her eyes, now plucked from its sockets, leaving her nearly unrecognizable.
She deserved it. She had corrupted her husband and forced him to abandon her.
So why won't the tears stop falling?

Some extra tidbits about her:
→ She died from the electric chair!
→ Her and Vox met in hell pre-season one. (But he was also already a flat-screen by that time).
→ Because of the censor bar on her eyes, Vox's hypnosis doesn't work on her.
→ She has issues with craving male-validation due to how she was raised.
→ Cathy uses she/they but prefers fem pronouns.
→ Heavily closeted bi. Will more than likely never find that out herself though </3
→ Her sinner form is a robot-doll hybrid!
→ She's a closet freak. Is into ANYTHING that her husband is also into (except threesomes).
→ Cathy started off as Vox's personal assistant but eventually sold her soul to Vox once they'd gotten closer and became "married."

Short synopsis (or, at least I'll TRY to keep it short 💔) ↓
Basically an AU where Vincent and Cathy were still alive at the same time.
→ He first took notice of her somewhere around when he was a weatherboy or news reporter . . .
→ Vincent gradually takes a liking towards her (big problem though, she's already married)
→ While he did his thing with rising to higher and higher positions, he began to obsessively stalk her on the side.
→ This leads to him finding out about how her husband has been gradually becoming more absent in her life for a while now. (And later on, finds out about him seeing another woman too).
→ Vincent takes advantage of how neglected Cathy's been feeling lately and tries to ""subtly"" show his interest/affection for her whilst comparing himself to her current partner.
→ Cue Vincent taking her out somewhere for a ""casual"" hangout and even gifting her a giant bouquet. "Now, when's the last time your husband has done this much for you in one day?"
→ Ok.
→ Obviously, nothing he does seems to work in his favor though, considering he ends up killing the guy. Deserved.

Her clothes are the same but I did end up changing my style so she'd fit into Hazbin more (most notably how I drew her face, so the lil comic/scenario at the top of this post is how I draw her now) . . .
