The name is Eileen, 22 years old. Dark hair, useless brown eyes. I currently live in Cologne, Germany.
I like music, lots of music. I like my friends and I like going out but I also like being left alone. I like wikipedia and clothes and hair dye and programming and margaritas and books and working in a club and festivals and cities and genuinely confident people and that I was able to tell Jonny Greenwood that i appreciate his music and people I can’t reach
I don’t like wasting time and the feeling of wet fingers on wood and marmite and driving (fast) and the fact that I'm constantly broke and people I can’t reach

Anyone remember that audio post floating around circa 2012 which had a recording of street spirit on it but with the sound and light tech's at foh singing along to it and having a laugh? Been searching tumblr for ages but I can't find it. Help please?
Now to the fun part of the interview: Imagine the zombie apocalypse started during one of your tours, and while arriving at a venue you’d suddenly notice that your audience was more interested in eating your brains than listening to your music. You would have to form a team in order to make sure you survive. Who of you would be the leader of your survival-team? Who would be the brains, the fighter, the medic, the guy who dies first? (Please explain your answers!)
SO: Being a band on tour, we’re already well prepared to survive in such a situation. We have provisions, medical supplies and are set up to travel light and fast. I think Theo would be our leader, as he has the quick decision making skills to out-think the horde. Lucas would be the brains of the operation. His collection of tourist guide books which he brought on tour would enable us to find the most remote, rural locations to hide up and outlast the plague. Matt’s passion, and hatred of all things unclean would make him the ideal zombie slayer. Pelham would be the medic, due to his encyclopedic knowledge of both over and under the counter medications. Nothing’s going to protect you from that bite, but flesh wounds and illnesses that slow down the group will be the end of you all. New bassist Chris would be the guy who dies first. Sorry man – last one in, first one out.
summer is the worst time of the year i swear you can't even open a window at night because next thing you know you will have yucky moths all over your screen like excuse me i don't remember you paying rent
ah, anyway. i don't usually do gossip (i hope i think i know), but this time it's really something i can't talk to anyone about, so in order to ensure that i can keep my mouth shut i thought maybe i'd just talk about it on here..
i keep returning to tumblr cause i just love it soo much but unfortunately i just don't always have the time to write and reblog stuff... i'm so sorry. for everyone who's still here: i currently feel okay. things are going well. i found a job and i've started paying back the debt i'm in. still owe a shitload of money to B. though he says he doesn't want most of it back.
me and B. are still a couple but i'm getting more and more annoyed by his friends. there's this one girl he used to have a crush on that still twists him around her little finger. and there's this other female friend of his that keeps telling him about her (naked) photo shoots. and then there's his younger brother who keeps trying to get everyone's attention by just being absolutely obnoxious. He's a horrible poser, trying to seem as edgy as possible by telling everyone that he's had such a terrible drug problem and that his girlfriend (allegedly) is a manic depressive which is why they fight so much but he LOVES HER SO MUCH (although he's cheated on her twice or even more often), they fight each other on a night out until they've gotten EVERYONE's attention just to make up a few moments later. they're both just horribly crude and immature and i can't stand being around them. hearing someone talk about depression and serious problems like that makes you really angry when you've had these problems yourself.
but i can't say these things out loud because they're friends of B.'s and its driving me mad.
I visited my grandmother this weekend because it was her birthday. I made her chocolate muffins and got her some port wine. We arrived quite late in Bremen, about 11pm because we had forgotten about the beginning of the autumn holidays on Friday so we had gotten into a lot of traffic jams. My father was there too and he was already quiet drunk because he had met up with some old friends of his, so we waited until 12 pm and then I gave my grandmother my present, but she just said she wouldn't eat the muffins because she had diabetes now. I didn't know that, but still I thought that even with diabetes you can eat a little muffin if you want to, my aunt has diabetes as well so I knew a bit about it. Then she started drinking a lot of sparkling wine with my father (another thing I know about diabetes is that alcohol is also quiet bad if you have it) so I thought she was probably gonna eat a muffin in the morning. I went to bed and we said that we would be having breakfast at 10 am the next day, as it was already 2 am and I wanted to get some rest from the long journey. B. and I set our alarm for 9 am and when we got up, my grandma and father had already had breakfast, and again they didn't touch the muffins. I thought they probably just forgot about them. B. and I had breakfast on our own and went for a little walk through the city. At noon, my grandma invited us and about 25 other relatives and friends to have lunch with her in a little restaurant, and we collected a friend of my grandma's at her house and drove to the restaurant, we were the first people to arrive, and I had a little time to talk to my favorite aunt whom I don't see very often cause she lives in hamburg and works a lot. When everyone had finally finished their meal at about 4 pm, I had a horrible headache and we headed back to my grandma's flat. I had to rest because I was feeling so unwell, and when I got up people were already eating and drinking alcohol again. Still no one had touched the muffins I had made especially for my grandma, so B. took one. I just felt so bad. I never was my grandma's favourite grandchild and if B. hadn't paid for the ride I wouldn't even had the money to go and see my family on this very special day, but I kind of felt like they didn't even expect me to come. No one really knew what to say to me. Everyone laughed at me when the main course at the menu was a big plate of meat because it's the family's favourite running gag that I'm a vegetarian (and have been one for 7 years now). Especially my grandma thinks the fact that I don't eat meat is a horrible disaster. When we left yesterday she told B. to take the muffins back to cologne with us because he seemed to have enjoyed them so much.
I feel terrible because I got an IUD a few hours ago and B. was all like "I'm gonna care for you and make tea for you and stuff" but he's fallen asleep and I don't want to wake him up. Also sitting seems more comfortable than laying down at the moment, so I'm eating ice cream in the kitchen until the painkillers kick in. It's not that bad after all, but the thought of some plastic device in my uterus is just really uncomfortable for now. I'm sure I'll get used to it though.
