“I can't help but dislike the OTT trend. Sweet is mildly acceptable since its directly influenced by decora, but Classic OTT tends to look super sloppy. The mid calf underskirt is not flattering, and sheer coverings and shawls add weight to the outfit. Id be fine with it if they did OTT with more flattering elements.”

“I’m a ‘bittersweet’/gothic lolita. I always feel so much better when i wear all black/mostly black coordinates then the sweeter ones. I always feel like i’m not ‘sweet enough’ to be wearing these coords even if my style is much more toned down then the OTT sweet girls. I went to a Lolita event where there was a professional camera crew and they kept approaching me and telling me to get out of the way of the camera because I was detracting from the shot. Why do people think it makes sense to wear solid black tights with a coord that has no black elements? Why?!
