Ok, SO, I’ve just finished Valhalla’s dlc, AND I have some thoughts to put down-
( WRATH OF THE DRUIDS SPOILERS AHEAD )
First of all, I expected the dlc to be longer and possibly include more of the Isu stuff as well. A Celtic Isu plot-line like we see in Valhalla with the Aesir would have been so cool, especially since we don't know much about Irish folklore, BUT that is another thing.
However, we still see Isu stuff, but not the way we would imagine ( especially for the last scene that is SUPER RAD AND I WILL GET TO IT SOON )
ngl, I ventured into the dlc thinking that we would see The Morrigan like we see Aletheia in Odyseey, but instead, we only got hidden mysteries. While continuing to play the game, I was starting to becoming a bit annoyed and disappointed because they kept focusing on Morrigan's death and violent aspects, so I figured Ubisoft didn't really look into The Morrigan too much beyond the death aspects so they could maintain that creepy (tm) theme.
THAT until a particular scene came up. The scene with Ciara and Eivor at the waterfall. We see Ciara trying to seduce Eivor, but it's not only about that. The Morrigan is also a river and fertility goddess, and in many myths, she's known to seduce warriors and have ritual sex with them.
That scene really got me thinking, but I didn't want to jump to conclusions, so I kept playing, tho this time while keeping an eye on Ciara because that girl looked sus.
It's not until the scene where we kill the leader of the children of Danu that confirms my doubts. The leader ( which I don't remember the name rip ) says that Ciara always had a weakness for 'men in power ', and Flann Sinna, the High King of Ireland, really seems to rely on Ciara's opinion, to the point where he was willing to go against the other kings of the country to defend her while she was being attacked for her druidic heritage.
This is also one of the aspects of The Morrigan, Macha especially. Macha is a sovereignty goddess, and she always have the last word when it comes to choosing a rightful ruler. The Morrigan's word is sacred, and she only offers her advice to worthy leaders.
Ciara is convinced that having Flann as High King of Ireland will finally bring an opportunity for her people to be in peace with the Norse settlers and catholic church, but Flann and the other kings of Ireland decide that the best way to avoid something like the Cult of Danu from showing up again, is to kill every single druid in all Ireland.
THIS IS WHERE THE LAST SCENE COMES
Ciara, furious, goes to Tara and it turns out that she knows how to activate and manipulate the Lia Fáil, the stone of destiny ( who’s actually an Isu artifact)
Guess what does she do next? she takes hold of the mind of the soldiers and urges them to attack Flann and Eivor. This is an aspect of the Morrigan, especially Nemain, who was known to cause battle frenzy in warriors. Ciara even seems to controls the death, and c’mon which other Irish deity has got such power? THE MORRIGAN.
I believe that we do see the Morrigan in the dlc, we deal with the Morrigan throughout all the dlc, because the Morrigan is actually Ciara.
Now, I'm still unsure if Ciara is the reincarnation of the Morrigan, OR if she's descended from her/them. From Macha, especially. Because in myth, Macha has two sons, SO it could be possible that one of those two children started Ciara's bloodline 👀 or her druid clan!
BEAR in mind that this is just a theory, we know that Ciara has got Isu genes, yes, but we don't know what Isu genes. From what I've seen, she has got MANY things in common with The Morrigan, so that's why I've formulated this theory.
I also keep seeing from various sources that there are, although hidden, clues about Shay BUT I'M GONNA GIVE IT A DOUBLE CHECK bc oh boy I sure have another theory in mind :'D ( tho I strongly believe that Shay will turn out to be strongly linked, if not RELATED, to Macha as well--)

Goddess Macha, cursing the men of Ulster, these men have turned away from their true worship and follow a false god of men. The men had lost respect for womanhood, and motherhood, and would not allow her space to give birth to her children before being made to run a foot race against horses. She was made to race on foot against the king’s fastest horses or watch her husband be killed, she was in her last months of pregnancy with twins. She raced against the horses and won, because no horse can outrun the goddess Macha, but when she was done she immediately fell down and gave birth to her twin sons and died.
But Macha is a goddess, and she is immortal, and like her kin she is reborn herself, in spirit and in flesh if she chooses.
The men of Ulster were cursed that in their time of greatest need they would travail like a woman in labor pains. This caused them a lot of trouble later as you might imagine, but that’s another long story.
