This is true happiness exerting from every part of my being. I have never felt so triumphant and joyful! Today is the first day of the rest of my life.

An old one I never posted.

I don't usually do cartoony things, but I had fun with this. 3x4 ft canvas with sharpie and acrylic. In the bottom right hand corner you can see the scale I started with.

Here's two hours and 1.5 pens worth of anxiety. Enjoy.

For anybody that doesn't understand how hard I've worked to get to the point that I'm at. I've been trying to find myself for awhile, and just when I think I've got it figured out, life throws another punch. I know there are days I fall short and days that it's hard for me to put on a smile, but I try really hard... I try so hard at everything I do, and even though I know I've just got to keep pushing, it's not always easy... If I didn't have the support I have, I wouldn't be where I am today, so thank you to everybody who's ever said something kind to me and encourages me to be the best person I can be...

When I was going to school in Santa Fe my art teacher told us to pick an inanimate object to create a silent metaphor of life out of. Still one of my favorite projects. I procrastinated until the night before and turned it in a class period late. At the end of the semester I went to get it back and it wasn't there so I asked my teacher where it was and he told me he had put it in the schools art show thing where people came in the look at all of the projects he had picked, but he never told me. I got it back, but I was pretty upset I didn't get to see one of my first college art projects in a gallery with other awesome artists.
