— Ehwaz —
Ehwaz means “horse”, and has an immediate connection to ideas of transportation. For the ancient Norse, though, the domestication of animals so that they could be ridden required a fair amount of trust on both sides. Ehwaz has strong themes of trust and companionship, especially in regards to marriage, and signifies a unity both physical and emotional. Ehwaz can also, by extension, represent your own personal unity with elements within yourself that are considered aligned with the opposite sex.
