Meeting an old friend|Para: Seunghyun & Sem

He wasn’t entirely sure why he came especially since his presence wasn’t even required he could easily be at home grading the stack of essays that were just turned in. Still he put on his best smile and began to socialize with the unfamiliar face, he would leave after doing his greetings.

He turned when he felt someone grab at his arm bowing his head out of instinct “Yes…and you are?” he titled his head somewhat confused on how the other knew his name but the confusion quickly went away when he came to the realization. “Sem? Lee Sem?” he asked his lips curving into a bright smile “Long time no see…” he felt a tugging feeling of guilt for not being able to recognize his friend at first.

"Should you really be drinking?" he teased her stealing her drink away before handing it back "How have you been?" he no longer felt the need to leave or at least leave alone "Have you eaten yet?"

Sem was relieved he had recognized her. Giving him a bright smile back she almost couldn’t hold herself back from hugging him. It was so good to see him. “Yah~ I can drink how ever much I want!” She snapped back at him playfully taking her drink back from his hand. It was almost as if no time had passed as they used to play like this before he had left. 

"I have been good," she answered quickly. It was true for the most part, recently one of her best friends had gotten into an accident ending up with him going to a coma. Her face lost its smile for a second before she shook the sadness away, she was here to enjoy herself, not mope around. Finding her smile again she shook her head. "I haven’t really had the chance to eat yet. Had to run home to get here in time, almost got a little late. Was thinking at first to not come as I don’t know anyone here, or so I thought." 

She placed a soft hand on his arm just to see if it was for real, that he was standing in front of her. It was almost as if he was sent there to her at this moment to show her that friends that was once lost came back and it gave her hope. “I have really missed you,” she said with a quiet voice. Maybe she hadn’t thought about the college years in some time, but she felt it now how much she had missed it all. It had been so easy before Sem had gone out into the real world, gotten herself a job and a life of her own. Back then it had been all laughs and if they got worried it was mostly over homework assignments. “What have you been up to since you left?”

"Did something happen?" he nudged her gently with a tone of concern.He had noticed how her smiled faltered even though the action was quick he caught it, he had become much more observant in the time that he had been gone.

"I missed you too" he smiled a little not convinced that she was as happy as she was saying "Well I've become fluent in English for starters...I've been residing in New York for the last couple years trying to find my place in this world" he paused letting the memories linger in his mind.

"I modeled a bit while I was there as a side job while I finished school and after that I began to teach Korean to the local schools" he left a few things unsaid for the time being not wanting to spoil their reunion.

"Now I teach English at a high school in my neighborhood...a rough batch of kids but I'm sure I can handle them"

Meeting an old friend|Para: Seunghyun & Sem

Standing in the middle of the room wearing a black fitted dress Sem was holding a glass of white wine and looking out at the people that had shown up. It was crowded and Sem felt awfully alone, even though her friends had all said that she should go just in case there would be anything interesting happening there. 

Sipping on the wine she sat her eyes on someone who seemed familiar. He walked through the room, talking to people out of politeness she could guess. A soft smile came upon her lips as she remembered the days back in college where the familiar face came from. It had been a long time since they had spoken as he had left the country to study. Even though they had promised to keep in contact they had slowly drifted apart. The calls had become fewer and the e-mails went unanswered. Life got to them both and to the end they just stopped. 

Sem gave the empty glass to a waiter and took another one before she decided to go over to the long lost friend. With a warm smile she grabbed his arm to get his attention. “Seunghyun? Choi Seunghyun?”

There's one in every school...her...the girl every guy wants to push up against the wall, hated by most of the female student body...always shows up late to class and never does the given homework, spends most of her time trying to seduce her male teachers into giving her good marks (More info just ask)

“I.. I suppose so. I mean, you’re still a stranger, so it’s a win-lose situation, really.” he nods earnestly, chewing at the side of his cheek. He had never simply just ‘gone out’ with a stranger and it seemed a little strange that you’d just ask him to accompany you so quickly. Seoul was odd.

“It’s nice to meet you too, Seunghyun-ssi..” he manages, gingerly sitting in the spot you directed him towards. “Ah.. No, I haven’t. Oh, I don’t want to be a nuisance to you; it’s kind of you to offer, though.” he smiles weakly, rubbing his neck.

My name is Taeil.” he mumbles, taking off his shoes and setting them aside, carefully taking a step into the apartment.
