"Ha…….AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!" The Doctor broke down into hysterical laughter at the obvious lie. Jack slowing down?  The timelord released Jack first, unable to stop his laughter. At last allowing the outpouring of humor to leave him, The Doctor looked the undying captain in the eye. "I’m quite serious, I missed you….you daft bastard. You daft, horny bastard. Sorry about the whole….avoiding you thing but you’re such a wanker sometimes"

-- " I promise! " He said, but his lie broke with a grin on his face, stepping away from the embrace. The Doctor's touch still warmed the flirtatious Captain, as did everyone's touch. 

   As the conversation took a serious toll, Jack's smile wavered slightly. The Timelord's word made him feel sort of better, having thought the Doctor had some sort of grudge on him. It was a foolish assumption. 

   Horny? DIsgraceful. 

-- " I prefer a more elegant term... like having a sensual feeling... or feeling passion for one. " He corrected. 

   He didn't comment on the more serious part of the Doctor's remark, not having a good answer for it that wasn't forgiveness.
