Happy 26th Birthday!! I am so thankful that I have you as a role model to look up to as I grow up. Thank you so much for everything. For your birthday, I made a mashup of enchanted, wildest dreams, style, and I see the light from tangled because you and Disney are my two favorite things. I never learned how to play the piano, so I learned how to play all of this by ear. okay i love lemonade but real talk: when t-swift released red, an album specific to one person that was brutally honest and emotional and explicitly detailed (just like!!!! lemonade is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) she got mad hate for it. and YET………….beyoncé is getting universally praised for doing the……….same…..exact…..thing………………..like….do y’all see the problem here? y’all shouldn’t be out here picking and choosing when you’ll support female artists who showcase their emotions about personal relationships solely based on who they are and whether y’all like them or not, because every woman writing about her personal experiences is valid, whether it’s beyoncé or taylor swift. and seeing the whole “taylor swift is a joke” culture come up randomly after lemonade was released while also simultaneously seeing the “beyoncé is queen” culture at the same time??? like why y’all trippin when they as artists and people have publicly supported each other and have accomplished/done some of the same things?????? it’s nasty tbh. like have your preference in artistry, but don’t shit on someone else because it’s the popular thing to do, especially when it’s hypocritical to the feminism y’all preach about 24/7 that’s ALSO present on the album y’all are yelling about right now.
