Well, not usually...
I just wash myself like everyone else. Though, out here, the scientists of Den 10 figured clean water would be rare and better spent on drinking rather than bathing in, so they thankfully equipped me with other means of keeping up with hygiene. Not that I wouldn't love a shower right about now! Yeesh.
What about the.... other dangers. ( mutants, raiders, etc.)

Thanks! Although they're not proper pants, but a full suit! Standardised Denizen Wear, complete with a comfortable inner lining, a bunch of hidden buttons and utility attachments to function for all career needs, and so forth. Mine's been reinforced as well, to endure any hardships I might encounter during my foray into the outside world! Oh, also, what do you mean by "roaches"?

In fact, I'm quite excited to hear what kind of noise the alert is! There's no radioactive materials down inside Den 10, and I'm not a PepBox technician, so I've never gotten to experience it for myself.
But I'm sure to run into some places chock full of the stuff as I explore the vast outdoors!

W-well... I knew that! There's plenty of writings describing what the sky is inside Den 10's library records, but it's a whole different thing seeing it for yourself! I just... Needed a moment to acclimatise! I've grown up with a ceiling over my head my entire life, just like many generations before me. No one would be able to prepare for an endless openness after that.
Once you get over the terror of it, though...

Got the typical five limbs, two eyes, ears, claws... Fur, like the vast majority. Which I guess is kind of a pain when it gets matted.

Thank you!!! You know, if someone had told me a year ago that I'd be celebrating my 20th birthday by being the first to ever step outside of the Den, there's no way I wouldn't have laughed at the absurdity of it all!
Now look at me! Exploring long forgotten caverns, logging anomalies in all the skeletons piled up within here—there's some really weird defects within their bone structure!—and as soon as I find my way out, will be the first to lay eyes on the world! Oh, I really hope three centuries will have been enough for flora and fauna to recover! Maybe even some resurgence in human civilisation! Will they have reverted to a bartering system, will currency still be around, have technologies progressed in a wildly different direction from what us denizens are used to?
So many questions I cannot wait to have answered!
