imagine if you were a 15 year old who was absolutely obsessed with One Direction and one day you found out that One Direction was writing and producing and starring in their own movie and you were SUPER excited because you just LOVE One Direction so you go to the theater with all your friends who also love One Direction and you watch this scene where Liam from One Direction opens up a medicine cabinet and sees this disembodied unblinking eye that represents the eternal and inescapable audience. and there’s also part of the movie where they show you actual genuine footage of a guy getting shot in the head. In the One Direction movie.

i feel like theres a bit of a thing ive noticed on tiktok of people diehard defending each and every one of mike's decisions under the guise of him being a 'poor traumatized individual', which i cant say is untrue, he had adversity in life, but also..i don't think this is very nuanced. yes mike went through a lot but lets not forget this is the guy who had multiple conscious affairs, ran off with his friends wife, demanded his semi-ex wife be taken out of the hospital after she tried to kill herself because he "didn't believe in doctors", medically neglected his children most likely due to this, treated most people around him horrifically (described it as 'celebrity psychosis'), etc etc.

Yes a lot of this could be caused/explained by what he went through during life, bad people sometimes end up that way due to adversity, but to sit and fully see mike as a helpless victim everyone was horrible to makes no sense to me. this was a grown man making bad decisions in life not a helpless traumatized teenager. but idk maybe im nuts ?? if im wrong about anything lmk..im going off what i remember from infinite tuesday.

if i had to be honest. i view mike as a he/she gaybian + genderfluid who feels gender very strongly a lot of the times while micky is a mostly gender apathetic butch lesbian that describes himself as just "butch" when asked

peter to me is apathetic as well but wears all types of clothes. very groovy wardrobe. doesn't mind what labels others put upon him. davy is a binary trans guy but also isn't a stickler for making clothing gendered bc. look at his roommates/partners
