hi! i forgot a huge fact of a mun intro, so here i go. im not too fantastic at these. so bear with me, aight? my name is tex (texas, ronan, lev, i go by a shit ton of names lol), im 17 going on 18 on halloween. my hobbies include coding, robotics, drawing, rping, etc etc. im usually at my twitter (i have skype, line, discord if youd like those as well) where i enjoy yelling and making friends is my fave thing, so swing by and let me smother you in attention bc im basically a puppy. this is my first time playing teo from lieat, so ill try my best to keep up with responses and everything. if youd like to rp with me, feel free to give this a like or pm and we can plot some shit out. have a great day/morning/night

At the visual and vaguely vocal cues Teo presented, Enos wills himself to mimic the smooth expression his brother presents. Though it doesn’t take long for the veneer to break, upturning his eyebrows and offering a smile of the apologetic sort.

It wasn’t anxious by any means (one might consider that a feat had they only recently been invited into Enos’s good graces) but of the sincerely regretful type. Of this situation? Of their past? Their history? It was hard to say. He can only assume Teo knows there are no anxieties between them, only what the tension in the atmosphere dreams up. 

         “ Aha. Not a problem, then. I’ll take what I can get. ”

The unspoken truce is met with understanding without missing a beat. No questions, then. Not that Enos particularly minded–it’s best to live one day at a time. Questions of the past satiate curiosity, of course, but it’s moving forward that builds bridges. Makes progress. It’s time that heals wounds.

         “ …–Ah! I’m in room 301 if you ever, erm, want to. … talk. ” –A particularly nervous fidget that ruffles the fabric of his sleeves.          “ But, uhm… Have you heard about the Masquerade? ”

Now that it seemed that they were out of the initial storm of discomfort, and into the calm of the storm, Teo straightened out again. This entire situation still touched him as a swirling mix of odd and almost...surprising in a fashion. But the way that things were beginning to turn out in this certain conversation could work. He guessed. “Masquerade? No.” 

“Why? Interested in going?” he didn’t know why he said that but he allowed it anyways, eyes sliding away then coming back to rest solidly on Enos. He could only imagine how this would be going if the...rest of his siblings here here. Hah.  “We’ve only been here a day or two and you’re already wanting to party..tsk, Enos.” a slightly more teasing voice that was well hidden by the flatness of his natural tone.

The finality in which Teo speaks his name causes the makings of a grin to twitch into a frown. It seems as though all at once Enos’s entire presentation shifted from welcoming to almost hesitant. It seems he wasn’t forgiven yet.

As much as Enos refused to look at the past, there was no qualms in his mind that Teo had just as much right to refuse him as he had to extend peace. Perhaps he didn’t agree with it, but things like that–and other people–just can’t be helped.

         “ Be it fate or what-have-you… ” –He waves his hand in a dismissive gesture.          “ it’s nice to see a familiar face. ”

His eyes wander, looking anywhere but at his brother. His chest tightened with nerves at the tension of it. It’ll be fine, Enos. Breathe. Just breathe. He wills the smile to return.

         “ Where are you staying, Teo?            Since the others aren’t here, it’d be good to stay in touch. ” His eyes dart to Teo’s side and back. A nervous tick, or perhaps an observation. He made no mention of the lack of a certain dragon.

Teo mentally cursed. Well, wasn’t this just flat out awkward. The subtle shift of a smile into a frown made his own lips tug down to mirror them.  He hadn’t meant to make this situation so completely aggrivating to be part of, it should be expected for this to be a more positive occasion (but lets be honest, who didn’t see this coming a mile away). Purposefully, he made himself flatten into a smooth expression. “Nn.” He grunted. Oh that was great, Teo. He could almost taste the blatant discomfort in the air

“Yeah,” he said finally, voice coming from depths inside his throat that hadn’t been scratched in years.  “It’s nice to see you,” a glance. “And that’s information I’d have to charge for.” the smile that he attempted after that statement was wobbly, just as awkward as his attempt at a truce.

So there’s a familiar face, after all. Though not one he could say Cyril would particularly approve of, but that wouldn’t stop Enos in the slightest. As far as he is concerned, they’ve made their peace. Even if their sister couldn’t accept Teo again.

With a cautious smile, Enos raises a hand in greeting to his estranged brother. After he’s sure he’s received Teo’s attention, his arm returns to its reserved position, linked naturally in front of his body like a protective barrier. The inventor approaches without much hesitation, meeting his eyes for the ghost of a second before averting his gaze. A moment, and he turns back to him with a grin.

        “ Good afternoon, Teo.            With work like ours, I expected to run into you eventually, but…            I never thought it’d be here. Are you on business? ”

Teobaldo turned, his eyes trailing over to the lifted hand. The familiar cuff around a pale cuff brought the feelings of mild surprise and discomfort to the pit of his stomach.

He smiled despite the mixed feelings. It was a small smile, more of a vague twitch of his lips than a real show of emotion. Never-the-less, it was all he would muster up for this particular person. “I could say the same thing.” It was short, his voice. Crisp but not enough to play tattle on his true feelings. He schooled his hand into a lax wave, letting it drop to his side, smile still fixed on his face. It was odd talking to this person, out of the three in his life that it felt impossible. It was....curious that they’d met here. Of all places. “Enos.”
