HP Inc. announced the completion of its acquisition of Teradici Corporation, a global innovator in remote computing software that enables users to securely access high-performance computing from any PC, Chromebook, or tablet. The acquisition will enhance HP’s capabilities in the Personal Systems category by delivering new compute models and software-enabled digital services tailored for hybrid work.
We know that a lot of customers have mixed deployments - that is, they have some workers who need support for graphics-intensive tasks, along with others who are more task-based office workers. Enterprise teams need to integrate existing Teradici PCoIP solutions with WVD for support of those different use cases. And we’re happy to report that we can support them with Cloud Access Software.

Installing Teradici Cloud Access Software (Standard Agent) for Windows on Google Cloud Platform. Before installing the Teradici PCoIP Standard Agent for Windows, ensure that the "Display device" is enabled on the VM where you are installing the agent. If the VM is an existing VM, turn off the VM and select the “Turn on display device” check mark option in the VM configuration.

This can provide a solution for teams who may have an office with a larger proportion of task-based workers who could see resource and cost efficiencies from switching to WVD, but who also need to provide a subset of high-performance workstations.
