the anime can be sad, interesting, mysterious, magic, comic, romantic, etc. not only for kids. In reality, there are animes that they can even give you a great message with its stories, as well as any series or movie, the difference is that the anime is animated as its name says. I think that people should stop assuming that anime is for children and give it a chance, maybe there is a genre of anime which they like.

Attack on titan

This anime is Gore, it's about humanity living inside giant walls because outside them are titans who eat people. One day, the titans achive to enter the walls. There are many misteries about these titans, so it's very interesting.

This anime is shoujo, which is about a girl that play a violin and a boy that played the piano. The girl convinces the boy for play together but she is hidding something from him...It's very sad :'(.

Magi

This anime is Shounen, is based in the stories "Aladdin", "Alí babá and the 40 thieves" and "Simbad, the marine". It's very funny and interesting where you can enjoy the adventures of Aladdin and his friends. This anime is entertaining but its story is more interesting in the manga.
