I think i may have been stressed and paranoid with my statement about worrying about not hearing the remixes. I have now heard them all and am very excited. They have already been sent to Shawn at Optimum studios ready for our mastering session tomorrow

bad weather !!

well the UK seems to be at a standstill as snow has settled throughout the country. I am worried that the trains wont be running on Tuesday for the mastering session at Optimum studios.

I am also concerned that I have not been allowed to hear the remixes till then. I understand that anything released by a label is owned by the the label (the rights). but im concerned that the managing director has forgotten that it is my track that has been remixed and id like to be kept in the loop. I suppose its because my music is so personal. i find it hard to let go.

is this something im going to have to learn to deal with in a professional situation?

Its finally coming together

So after a few stressful weeks all of our work has finally been coming together. A week ago my business partner and my collaborator for the track had a massive falling out. I really felt that I was stuck in the middle. I could totally see it from both sides but they were both more intent on having a go at each other than being professional about it by biting their tongues, just for a few days until we had the finished track. To cut a long story short , i had to pay out of my not very much money to have the track mixed and ready to send to the surprise junglist legend remixer (all will be reviled next week).

I have also been panicking that the person doing the remix would not be able to do it in time due to their busy schedule , but today it has all started coming together. And ready in time for our mastering session at the amazing Optimum studios next week xxx

Final edit for vinyl !!

I have just heard the final edit for mine and Cragz’s vinyl release and i am blown away !! I cant wait for you lot to hear it ... wont be long now watch this space
