**Rant**

Sorry in advance to anyone reading this. I'm using this platform of social media to vent about my job situation. I can't vent on Facebook, Twitter or any other form of social media because people are always watching waiting to rat me out to my bosses. So yeah there's that. I need advice from any of you willing to give some. My current employer whom I shall not name, does not appreciate me or value me at what I'm worth. I am making less than 40k a year with a master's degree when I should be making anywhere from 55-67k (minimum with a master's depending which state I'm in) and my years of experience in top of that. Long story short, I gave advice to a fellow person in my field telling them not to get their masters for a salary increase because it won't happen because my employer doesn't pay for it. Their excuse has to do with my profession switching to an entry level masters instead of a bachelor's so people with Masters can't get paid more... yadiyadiya.... So I ultimately got in trouble with my bosses about the comment I made. FYI I wasn't bad talking anyone, or the company so why where they angey??? All I did was give advice from one professional to another. So I just apologized and told my bosses I shouldnt have worded it the way I did and should have wrote it differently and it was my mistake. Now after being at my profession's national convention and talking to other people in it, they have all advised me to leave and get a job elsewhere most have tolde to go to Texas where I would be appreciated and compensated fairly for my level of education, years of experience, and the certifications I hold. APPERENTLY TEXAS PAYS!!! NO SERIOULSY IT DOES IVE LOOKED INTO IT!! AND COST OF LIVING IS SO MUCH CHEAPER THAN WHERE IM LIVING WITH BEING TAXED UP THE WAZOO... So in conclusion, would any of you up and leave your current job, leaving friends, family and everything you know behind for a job that pays double of what your current one does??? What would you do if you were me?
