t posing as a soggy goose— i'm just yappin' and mildly venting here about art stuff ✌️but also hi, howdy, hope yall've been doing well ( i did cringe writing yall've ).

anyways.

i finished another piece for an upcoming character event and i'm so very happy how it came out ( even if the bg was fist fighting me every step of the way — why are bgs so hard? why? ). tbh technically it's 2 pieces in one because of the .... dumb way i split things?? but i'm over here like maybe ... maybe i can start to venture into making some merch for the like 5 kshg enjoyers out there. not as an actual source of income, but just to share the love yknow? and i got horrendously weepy seeing someone print out my stuff ( with permission dw ), because like ...... idk? it just hits different to see a it in a physical form? of my art????????? the me a decade ago would be like those manga panels where a characters got a space bg fr

i'm also constantly boxing with myself over that stupid headspace of how horrible algorithms are on every single platform / how small my reach has gotten over the past ... month or so? which is saddening and can be discouraging, but i keep dragging myself back up by the idk tailfeathers or whatever that this is the most advanced and 'polished' my art's ever been. i'm aware but it still feels not great to see more recent, mostly rendered, things get a blip of interactions. then again, i know the characters i've been fixated on aren't popular whatsoever so

moving on from that and back onto more yip yap — i just realized that if i do get sucked back into hades after the full release .... i can actually try to draw charon in his fully beefy glory. and that makes me so, so excited fr ( even if i'll have to do .... skull studies ugh ). but that also means i'll probably try my hand at hermes too in both of their new designs because i still love them so much. .... i might sneak odysseus in there too.

oh yeah. i've been doing this stupid unnecessary song and dance with the maintenance folks at my apartment because the hot water keeps going out. and the guy is just ..... i have no words. no nice words at least. like, wdym you forgot to put the filter back on and all of that condensation dripped onto the water heater and short circuited something? and then a thermostat was installed when things were still wet???????????? no actual follow ups either?? i know cold water's great for my hair and scalp, but buddy please. i'm freezing.

hha ha wow this thing on? i ain't back yet. been carted away with drawing a bunch again and some sprinkles of mood ... they're not even drops, they're crashes at this point. anyways. got a character event im trying to churn things out for early next month so i'll probably be quiet till that's over with. i know i've also fallen off with writing on disco too ( many, many apologies ) but one day ... the writing bug will return to me and bite the shit outta my ass again

i should also mention — i am still gaming. so if anyone wants to play monhun whatever or peak, i'm but a honk away
