My birthday weekend was capped off with the second greatest joys to me...coaching and watching my girls play! Seeing them play together is something a parent cherishes because it’s all going to end one day. It was good seeing their skills improve, as well as my @ctx_saints kiddos! We had an adverse moment in each my boys and girls game...my character was tested and I almost lost it at one point during an altercation. But being mindful that the most important people (my kids and other kids in the area) are watching me in how I react to the situation, I quickly regained my composure and began to go into crisis management mode!😉 We will continue to go through challenges in life that will not be comfortable to us, but trust me when I say it will make us stronger and wiser once we past those challenges and tests that come our way! We rest easy today and get back into the lab tomorrow. I grateful for my family and to coach again! I’m excited to announce an incredible new development happening in Central Texas for our girls basketball program in this area! I’m partnering with my buddy @terrysmothers12345 of @atxfuture and we have partnered with @skilledupelite owner, Chris Johnson and will be bring a Cy-Fair Premier Girls Program to the Austin area! Chris Johnson is a well respected player development coach and brings this well respected program to the greater Austin area. Coach Johnson is a former college assistant coach at Arkansas and TCU University. The program is based on high level exposure and player development. Cy-Fair Premier is a nationally known program that is based in Houston. The program has a strong competetive history, with some of the top female players in the state and country. Cy-Fair players can be found in some of the highest rankings in high schools, D-1s, and even internationally as some players have gone on to play professionally and overseas. Terry and I are pumped to be able to bring this to our girls in the greater Austin area! I’m blessed to be apart of this opportunity. There is so much talent here in Austin and we're enthusiastic about being able to showcase that and present this opportunity to Austin area players and families, to help them grow, expand their basketball knowledge, and improve their game at the highest level.
