Hey, friends.

This is extremely difficult to post, but I am currently facing an electric shutoff. I haven't received my paycheck from work yet, so I have been unable to pay. My mom was able to help with a little bit, but I have so many other bills piling up and only a little on my card to tide me over until payday.

My electric bill is $855.09, and I need at least $516 by September 5 to avoid disconnection. I attempted to set up a payment assistance plan, but they want an initial down payment of $305, and that's simply not manageable for me at the moment.

I'm embarrassed to ask, but I genuinely don't know what else to do right now. I've been trying so hard to stay afloat, and could really use a little help right now. If you are able to chip in at all--big or small--it would really make a difference. And if not, even a signal boost helps.
